Hey Xenoran,
Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback, I love it!
I am all for adding in a few ways to grab extra regen, as long as it is tied to active play (I feel AFK play is Strong enough already, maybe too Strong). Tying some form of Life steal to Execution strike or Aegis Ward through Skill tree or even through completing a challenge or achievement (removes the cost of wasting talent points) is something I am definitely okay with adding to the game.
Gold does have World Boss 2X a day, which is a large chunk of gold, but I will see what I can think of to add something with smaller chunks but a bit more often to make active play seem like you are getting somewhere.
I found a likely cause and have published a fix.
The game creates a save after you choose your Oath but before entering the game. If Chrome blocks persistent browser storage due to a privacy setting, extension, or site-data restriction, that save could fail and prevent the game from starting.
The game will now start even when persistent storage is unavailable. If saving is blocked, you will see a warning with instructions for fixing it. You can then test saving again or continue temporarily without persistent saves.
Please try the updated version when you have a chance and let me know if you can enter the game successfully. Thank you again for helping me track this down! :)
Anxiety overload!
Nice length game, long enough but not overly long on the slower levels. I enjoyed the music a lot too. Any chance it's from a free to use source so I can get my hands on it??
Only critiques - My hero went through the walls, seemed weird to me. Moving fast didn't interact well with bumping the balls away.
My favorite thing was crashing my diver into the reefs. The sound and the dust particles just felt nice. Also, I was impressed with the size of your map for such a short entry. Even with using other's sprites it still takes a while to build everything out.
Didn't find the load but I did find the scary fish. So that was a win in my book :)
Liked the idea a lot. Controls just took a little to understand, but once I got the hang of them they were fine. The design was basic but clean.
I wish the sporadic enemy gave a few hints as to what it was about to do... Like a warning before it goes into fast speed. Seemed that in order to win I had to do a lot of short safe plays, if the enemy gave different types of warnings you could use those to be a bit more daring.
