Hi everyone! I just released a free browser demo of my second game, Piñata Fever.

You're the piñata pro everyone hires for their party. Hold the circle over the piñata and your stick swings by itself. Aim for the ⭐ to land critical hits, chain combos, catch the flying piñatas and grab the prizes that rain down: candy, toy dinosaurs… and sometimes your uncle's car keys.

Between parties you take jobs from the neighbours (each with its own goal and reward), unlock new venues and buy better sticks: a broom, a rolling pin, a baseball bat, grandma's frying pan…

  • About 30 minutes, free, plays in the browser on PC and mobile (landscape)
  • Original music for every venue
  • 7 languages

I'm a tiny solo studio (Geodas Rush was my first game) and I make these with the help of AI tools for code and translations. Early players are already shaping it: one comment made me soften the first party in today's update. If you try it, I'd love to hear how the first few parties feel!

▶ Play it here: https://wildgg.itch.io/pinata-fever

Thanks a lot for playing and for the clear feedback! You were right: most players were only breaking 1 or 2 piñatas in the first party. I've just uploaded v0.7.1 with a gentler first party: the piñata swings much less and more slowly, it breaks a bit sooner, and you get 5 extra seconds. Hope your next first party goes much better! 🪅

Thanks again for rechecking, and good catch! On its last day, an order now says in red "🌙 last day: leaves tonight", right on the note, so it's clear the client won't wait another day. It's live in update 0.7.10.

And thanks for the note on the coin flip: paying both rents by day 6 is the expected pace. The flip usually shows up later, once you dig deeper and the rent goes up with depth.

Thanks a lot for playing and for the detailed notes! Glad the first-night Strength upgrade clicked.

To answer your question: orders are optional bonus money, there's no penalty if one runs out. You don't need to focus on them either. Count orders like the 6 × Milky quartz fill up on their own as you break geodes in that zone, and you still sell the gems as usual. The one thing to watch: they only count in the zone where the client asked, so if you move to a new zone before finishing, that order stops progressing.

In short: mine as usual, save for rent, and the order is a nice extra when it completes.

You're right that the card didn't make that clear, though, so I've just added a small "BONUS" stamp to the order notes (update 0.7.9) so nobody wonders whether it competes with the rent. Thanks for pointing it out!

If you get to the coin flip at some point, I'd love to hear whether it felt tense in a fun way or just unfair.

Update 0.7.0 is out, the biggest one so far:

• Grandpa's inheritance (prestige): when a run ends you earn coins for permanent upgrades that carry over to every run.

• Heads or tails with the landlord: the debt collector is gone. If you can't pay the rent, Don Ramiro flips a coin. Win and he lets it slide, lose and you're evicted (you still keep the coins for the inheritance).

• Rent depends on depth: the deeper your newest mine, the better the gems and the higher the rent.

• Faster start: the first rocks are dirt clods, so you can buy your first upgrade on night one.

A run now takes about 30 minutes. Full details in the devlog: https://wildgg.itch.io/geodas-rush/devlog/1701742/update-070-grandpas-inheritanc...

I'd love to know if the coin flip feels tense in a fun way or just frustrating!

Hi! I'm wildgg, a solo dev. Geodas Rush is my first game: a short incremental where you crack geodes by day, buy upgrades at night and pay rent every 3 days to a very greedy landlord.

Play (free, browser, English & Spanish): https://wildgg.itch.io/geodas-rush

I just released a big update (0.7.0) and I'd love feedback on three specific things:

1. The coin flip: if you can't pay the rent, the landlord flips a coin. Win and he forgives it, lose and you're evicted (but you earn prestige coins based on how far you got). Does that feel tense in a fun way, or too punishing?

2. The first 3 minutes: the first rocks are now dirt clods, so you can buy an upgrade on night one. Does the start hook you, or did you leave before the first night?

3. The prestige (grandpa's inheritance): is it clear what the coins do and why you'd start a new run?

I'll happily play your game and give feedback too, just leave a link!

It is okey, dont worry! Thanks anyways for playingg

Thanks for the posotive comment!!

Update: I just checked and the game is already fully in English! 🌍 It picks the language from your browser automatically, and you can switch between English and Spanish anytime in Options → Language. If it still shows up in Spanish for you, let me know which browser you're using and I'll look into it. Thanks again! 💎

Hi Motax, it is supposed to have both spanish and english, let me check it and thanks for your comment

Hey! thanks for reaching, i just tried your game and commented, really good job! Hope you like mine and if you find something wrong or likely to be improved perfect!

Seems really good to me, i like the incremental dificulty. The only thing i would like is to know how the cores look like from the firt time. Maybe a photo.

Thanks so much for playing and for the kind words! 🙏 Great suggestion — we just implemented it in update 0.6.2: now when you press and hold, the gem reveal animation is skipped just like when you spam click. Enjoy the faster mining! 💎

@caco91 Thanks a lot for the review and the suggestions! 🙏 Both are in update 0.6.1: you can now hold the mouse button or SPACE to keep hitting, and when you're at the bottom of the mine a client arrives every morning. Hope you give it another go! 💎

🇬🇧 A short incremental about cracking geodes to pay your greedy landlord. Free, in your browser, English & Spanish!

Hi! This is Geodas Rush, our first game. 💎

Your grandpa left you his old hammer… and a mine that isn't yours. Don Ramiro, the stingiest landlord in the valley, wants his rent every 3 days. Crack geodes, sell what's inside (quartz, rubies, diamonds… or a fireproof rubber duck), upgrade your tools at night and dig deeper until you can finally buy the mine.

  • ⛏️ 6 zones, from the riverbank to a meteor crater
  • 💎 30 gems with 120 depth varieties to collect
  • 📜 Client orders, night helpers… and a debt collector if you can't pay
  • ⏱️ A short run: about 1–2 hours, autosaves
  • 🌐 Free, plays in the browser, English and Spanish

It's a prototype and we'd love your feedback: what hooked you, where you got bored, and whether you got stuck anywhere. Thanks for playing!
