Neat little game!  I like the feel and aesthetic a lot - the controls remind me a little of playing space harrier as a kid.   

Dying feel a bit abrupt - would like if I could take a couple hits of damage before getting kicked out.

I couldn't seem to get it to work :(

When I downloaded, unzipped, and tried to run the .exe, I get a System Error that says "The program can't start because api-ms-win-core-path-|1-1-0.dll is missing from your computer. "

Immediately Piet Mondrian came to mind - so we started working on something in that Art style.   Stayed up way too late last night getting started.

Interstellar Invaders is kind of like Brickbreaker mashed up with Galaga and Missile Command.  

I've spent over 3 years working on this game and bringing it to conventions...    It only takes a couple minutes to play through the demo - I'd be super appreciative if you'd be willing to give it a try!
