In the description they said that only the basic attack works on the web version. the downloadable version still works with the other attacks

I absolutely agree that this game  brought me back to flash games. I had a lot of fun with it, and the additions of evil to take down all the veedles was very fun. Amazing work!

Thank you so much for playing! I really tried to make something atmospheric and I had a lot of fun making it. I really appreciate your time <3

Thank you for your kind words! If I take another crack at this kind of game I'll definitely put more work into the gameplay it haha.

I enjoyed it and I loved the intro! I got stuck on the blue blocks, tried a couple times, made it though and got stuck on the next set of blue blocks. It happens!

Well made from start to end! Good job

Thank you I appreciate the kind words

Damn this is a good one! I would strongly recommend polishing this one up. I had a lot of fun with the movement and the enemies gave me the heebie jeebies haha. it was a little confusing at first since I didn't realize the tracked items were the goal but that's just skill issues, in no time I was flying around enjoying the game.

When you're in the higher upgrade tiers it would be cool to have a larger enemy that you need speed to avoid, larger scales and all that. I would like to be able to maintain momentum when landing if I jump at the right time, like bunny hopping.

However this is a game jam game and a damn good one.

This is actually a pretty cute platformer. I enjoyed playing through it to the end.

Great job especially if you did this solo haha.

I love the art style, and I could see the music puzzles being pretty interesting, however I would really like a way to repeat the messages, but I saw that someone else already mentioned it haha.
Just mentioning a bug since other people may not encounter it, I believe the game is rendering based on pixel count, so on bigger screens the scaling is a bit off.  Either way great work!

Love the idea of multiplayer but I wish I could've given it a shot, but I don't have a goup haha. For situations like this It would be nice to have a video for reference. Either way, good luck!

Great work this is very nice! I enjoy bosh rush games like this. Short and sweet

I wasn't sure how to restart the game so I just had to refresh.

Thank you for playing! I really appreciate you giving it a shot. <3

I don't want to spam the comments but I've added a way to get past the "eyes"  in the description / other replies

Thank you! Also that's true I have no excuse for not adding sprinting haha

Nice work!  I feel some balance changes could really shape up this game, but I feel like most of what you need is already there.

Game jams are hard, but if you're interested here's some things I noticed. The text in the beginning has important tutorial text / lore drop, it would be nice to have some time to read it before the round starts. Sound effects would reaaally take this game up a notch. These types of games tend to value how satisfying progress is, so having nice sounds when leveling up / landing spells would help. Also, I wish I couldve seen the other enemies, but I saw from another comment that they spawn after 15 minutes, but again thats a balancing thing.

Thank you so much for trying it out, and I really appreciate the compliments. I've also noted from another commenter that the last section could use some work haha.

<from my reply to another comment>

*spoilers/solution to final area*

If you do wish to give it another shot, you can use the "=" key to skip sections of the overworld until you reach the area you stopped at.

If you're having trouble with the "eyes" , I think they have a tendency to clip through terrain. I would hug the left wall and look back and forth at the two eye enemies. They only move towards you when they're out of sight, and will stop following once you're out of range.

Thank you for giving it a shot! I see how the final section can be frustrating. Either way I appreciate your time <3

I really like this one, a mix of silly with actually fun ability switching mechanics makes this one of the neatest game jam games I've played so far!
I'd keep an eye on this concept, great work <3

A clever game, and the puzzles had me thinking haha! I did have to guess a bit at first but once I got the ball rolling I had more fun with it. I enjoyed it!

Thank you so much! <3

Thank you for the kind words. I'm sorry you were unable to play through it, though I'm happy it did work as a spooky experience. Thank you again <3

Thank you so much for playing!  I'm happy to hear to you made it through just fine <3

Interesting mechanic!

Only being able to place cards next to each other makes it a memory AND an organization game.

I found it fairly challenging and I cant imagine someone doing the 52 card count haha.
Maybe this game could benefit from a strike system?

The gameplay is unique and had me looking like < __ > trying to look at both characters haha!

The use of the drowsiness mechanic is clever,. I feel like I had the most fun trying to use both characters at once.

Great execution for 18 hours!
