Thank you for taking interest in the project!

Hello there! I'm Dan, the project lead of an in-development visual novel game set in World War 2.

Brief description of the project: The year is 1943, Italy is divided in half and in the midst of a civil war, you will get to witness the turning points of the Second World War through the eyes of a fresh recruit of the Italian Co-belligerent Secret Service. Meet up with your partners and be deployed beyond the battlefields of Europe to combat the Axis powers. There will be joy, and there will be tears.

Our team is currently looking for:

- A background artist and a character artist (It would be really cool if you could do both): Backgrounds vary from 1940s streets, alleyways, buildings and their interiors, to forests, mountains and just open fields in the countryside. Characters will be wearing setting-appropriate clothing which include both civilian and military outfits. Artwork can be in any style, preferably anime.

Voice actors and actresses: Most characters are in their 20s and 30s, occasionally there will be child, middle-aged and old characters. Ability to imitate accents would be great, but not a requirement.

If you're interested, feel free to contact me on Discord: dank8742

I'm looking forward to getting to work with you!

Hello there! Would you like to give a historical first person shooter a try? This is set in a very unique part of World War 2 that no game has ever covered before, I think you'd be interested by it! By the way you got a new subscriber! ;>

The estimated playthrough of the game takes only about 15-30 minutes

How sensible of you to use words like that when it's explicitly stated that the OP is 14

Thank you for the heart-warming comment! I have to be honest, I don't know about the future of this project, but if I ever get my hands on FPS Creator again and it doesn't glitch out like usual, I'll finish the game :>

I figured it out! Thank you very much!

Hello! Thank you very much for the great feature!

As I was testing out the achievement pop-ups I saw that the name of the achievements and descriptions were not showing up, then I realized I set gui.text_color in gui.rpy to black, is there a way to make the achievement text not rely on the same gui type as that of dialogue? Or is there a way to change the color of the popup box to white?

I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience :c

Thanks for the criticism, we're sorry about the inaccuracies in the game with the eagles. The order about a train to Paris is a re-used asset from our first game put in as a fun little easter egg, but no one will probably figure it out since we've taken that game down a few months ago. The infinitely fast shooting Karabiner 98 is just a weird game design choice we made back then to balance out the difficulty.

It is probably too late to change the gameplay now, we stopped supporting the game 2 years ago :(

But thank you again for playing the game, it means a lot to us :Đ

Thanks for your comment! We greatly appreciate the detailed review, and will see if changes need to be made for the next update.

The MP40 is considered overpowered by most players due to it's fast one-tap ability to the head, but we will do more research about it to make sure it's a good gun for everyone.

The engine is a customized version of an old game engine from 2005 called FPS Creator, it could have had some GoldSource vibes left in it, we'll change that too

Love the fact that you use Resident Evil: Survivor's Sheena Island as the location of the game

Always has been *bang*

Jokes aside, we weren't able to deliver the full product on time because of a few reasons, but that doesn't mean we intend to leave it abandoned ;)

One day, Alberto's journey will be complete. Aspettiamo, amico

Spaghetti westerns, my favorite! Love the game, it was short but memorable, I adore the outdoor level designs

Grazie, mio amico! We are doing our best to deliver the game to the public ;Đ

Thank you so much for spending your valuable time playing our game. Your support and interest in the game are truly appreciated, and I'm grateful for the positive feedback you've given us. We are always striving to make the game better, and we hope to continue delivering fun and engaging experiences for you to enjoy :Đ

We understand the older health system is pretty much outdated by the latest game standards, but nostalgia couldn't be perfectly achieved without it ;D We probably will consider developing a game with auto-regen in the future, though!

It's the antivirus program blocking the game from launching, this has never happened before.

If you want to disable your antivirus software to play the game, we will not take any responsibilities.

Good luck, I guess?

Well, besides us making sure that the game is virus-free, thousands of people have also played this game before and no virus reports have been sent, it's safe to say it's completely safe :D

(Or else the game would've been removed years ago)

Thank you very much!

And to answer your question, yes, we developed this project on FPS Creator with Black Ice Mod V12 installed.

I'm very sorry to hear that! But our game does not support the Linux OS even with emulation included.

There is a slightly complicated way to run it though, and it's to find a way to install DirectX9 on your computer, but it's not recommended (We will not take responsibilities if anything goes wrong).

This actually feels like it could be played by child me and take a few weeks to be finished, pretty nostalgic!

Oh, the installer part is pretty easy, we used a free software called Inno Setup, the link is here: https://jrsoftware.org/isinfo.php

The software will guide you through how to create an installer for your game, good luck with your project!

Thank you for the kind words! ;>

W.W.II Operations: Desert Front

This post has been marked as Comment of the Week, congratulations!

You've helped us all so much, Zakaria. You deserve a good break.

We hope to see you back in action soon!

For now, take care :Đ

Oh those sentient creatures disguised as food got you good, the terrorists were simply a distraction. We shall send in more Phantoms to help you deal with 'em!

(Gameplay featured on the game page by the way :Đ)

Grazie!

Thank you so much for playing! I guess we breathed some fresh air back into the itch post XD

I'm very glad you enjoyed our short little demo, we will continue to improve upon it to give you the best possible experience when the full game comes out, including more competent bad guys!

We'll feature your clip on the game page :Đ

Thank you so much for giving it a try! We'll feature your video on the game page :D

Possibly after Halloween :)

Yes, it is to replicate the OG Ghost Recon/Rainbow Six games!

But that's just a fancy way of saying we've run out of budget for good looking gun models O.o

I like it! Pretty fun game :)

Phantom 8: Counter-Terrorist Unit (Free-to-play)

Hi Zack! It's been long since we last talked, how have you been doing?

By the way, we are back with a completely new project! We have decided to take a break from the World War 2 era and decided to create a modern-day tactical shooter based on classic Ghost Recon & Rainbow Six games, called Phantom 8: Counter-Terrorist Unit.

This game is quite different from our previous ones, as it offers you freedom in choosing your approach to objectives, it's basically non-linear. You would also have to be more careful with your surroundings, as a few bullets alone could sign you off this world immediately, without any help from medpacks.

This is the link to our game! It currently only has 1 level set in Greece, since we are waiting for feedback to further develop the game ;D
We hope you could give it a try, your feedback would be greatly appreciated!

'Ello there!
We have currently been working on an old-school tactical shooter similar to classic titles such as Ghost Recon/Rainbow Six, in order to give you guys both nostalgia and new experiences of the early 2000s' gameplay.

Phantom 8 is an organization founded by the Canadian Department of Defence with the goal of protecting worldwide nations from uprising terrorism. 8 of the founding members consist of: The United States of America, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Italy, Spain, Germany & Belgium. Currently there are 150+ nations who have signed a defense pact with P8, therefore letting the special forces of the above-mentioned nations to freely deploy and conduct operations in their land.

This 1-level demo lets you play as an Italian operator being deployed in Greece during a terrorist attack at an official hotel in Florina at 9: 30 PM, attackers' identities currently unknown.

This demo includes:

- Classic gunplay from the PS1/PS2 era.

- Non-linear objectives system, choose where and how you approach your objectives.

- High-quality menus and music.

- A mysterious conspiracy to be revealed.

Why not join the force today?

This game is epico!

Thank you so much for the detailed review! We promise you that the next installment of the series would be even better with bug fixes & graphical improvements along with a more authentic setting for the campaign :Đ

Thank you so much, sir.

It's all fine, sir, we all have different views on video games.

We're sorry if this game didn't meet your expectations :(
