These answers are only based on the Scenarios you provided with the two characters. More complicated Scenarios will most likely need more complicated answers.

Scenario 1:

This would count as an “I WOLF” instead of a “MY WOLF”. This would not pass the rule.

Scenario 2:

This would count as an “I WOLF” and a “MY WOLF” but the “MY WOLF” trumps the “I WOLF” in this situation making it a “MY WOLF”. This would pass the rule.

Scenario 3:

This would count as a “MY WOLF”. This would pass the rule.

Scenario 4:

If both characters are wolves in this hypnotical then the outcome is the same as Scenario 2. The POV changes would have no impact on this rule. This would pass the rule.

Scenario 5:

This would only pass the rule if the “Non-Wolf Character” was in the POV for the majority of the story making it a “MY WOLF” instead of an “I WOLF”. This would pass the rule based on those conditions.

I’ve talked with some other developers and we found the issue. I needed to update the version of Ren’Py 8.2.1. I’ll be uploading a minor update so which should fix the issue.

AutoSaves is important to me be cause I sometimes forget to save and it makes saves everyone hundred or so lines. Also for some reason in Ren’Py, AutoSaves have a much lower chance of being corrupted when updating a VN.

So I finished the first build. There weren’t any major errors but I was wondering why there aren’t any Auto saves in the VN.

Are you able play the WEB Version? I can probably have someone downgrade the new update back to Ren’Py 8.1.3 if needed but it could take a while.

What virus protection program do you have? Try downloading and playing the 0.2.0 Jam version to see if the same thing happens. If you still aren’t able to play the Windows version you might want to try the WEB version.

How does one install the iOS version? Unless that EU law just activated, then sideloading is not possible.
