i got this game from a community copy and it honestly, earnestly made me cry

i am sheltered. i have no irl community. i am estranged from my jewish culture. i am so, so alone and scared all the time from abuse

in this game, i was able to put myself into the shoes of someone who was surrounded by love. love for community, love for the earth, love for my culture. it felt so nice and something i was sorely lacking

in it, i played the role of a shy hatchling who was bullied and who was slowly re-learning how to have confidence in myself. it mirrored a lot of my wishes for the future after i move out of my mom's house. it was therapeutic, and the end where a kind and loving mom takes me back home broke me.

i cried, it was a good cry. thank you for making this

Are there any options to set a button to mute the microphone and turn off all the talking animations? I don't have a mute button built into my mic so I was going to set the stream and rahitube mute as the same  hotkey. I've been looking around in the program and I can't find anything. Thank you!

this is a bad thing though. you say they "work fine" and yet there's tons of kids who go on those sites with a click of a button. doesn't seem like it's keeping out anyone who shouldn't see that stuff to me.

This isn't a matter of "getting away with" either, this is both for nsfw artists protection and the minors protection.

I realize there isn't a lot that can be done to stop minors from looking at porn except for ID verification (which I don't support) but come on, there has to be a /little/ more effort.

All it took for me to get access to adult games was clicking a button in my profile: no age verification or anything. I am an adult, and currently only have sfw content on my itch, but I want to expand my horizons and publish some nsfw zines. However, I cannot earnestly do that on this account where underage folks could /say/ theyre adults and get access to them. There needs to be an age verification feature, with punishment if you lie about your age. There also needs to be an option for creators to mark their entire accounts as 18+ (kinda related to this, it would be nice if we could have two itch accounts under one email so I could use a sfw and nsfw account concurrently, so you dont have to go through the hassle of managing two payouts). NSFW artists can get in serious legal trouble if minors get ahold of their work, please consider doing something about this

I completely agree, I've been reviewing games and adding things thinking that they would help other people thinking of getting the game but they're... not public??? What's the point of a written review then?  I use comments for quick quips about enjoying the game and reviews for actual, yknow, REVIEWS, but the comments are all people see

1.1.7! and it froze (did the slightly-white screen thing, not sure what to call it) right after they said "if only you knew"! I waited 10 minutes or so for the game to fix itself but it was stuck on that line

I love this game a lot! It's very charming and I was delighted to see characters with they/them and neopronouns. The vibes are so sweet and soft! However, when I gave the green apple to the mystery bird my game froze! Thank gosh for autosave <3

I agree with this, I also think that along with changing the font you should be able to make the font bigger/smaller. It's almost impossible to read any of the text for me without zooming in as much as I can, and I'm sure it's even worse for those with low vision.
