See i'm new to this Jam stuff but what i've found is how much it pushes you to add the next piece to you game so can that be done here?

Can you submit a game your building with the idea that you are going to add to it and that bit can get voted on?

New to these gigs too, like the way participating forces your game forward!

This game seems a fun starting point for something that could be much better if the player was aloud to individually control the soldiers by clicking on them and taking over  - however as a stop gap before that even if there where small walls or obstacles to hide behind and shoot from or over it would be a great improvement, sound is great!

Without playing it I can from the images at least see I would choose it to play out of a group of others and it looks fun and colourful.

Why does the download want to make changes on your computer? I downloaded it but when the computer warned it wanted to make changes I stopped and deleted it. I use Unity which doesn't as far as im aware make any changes to a computer when you open its sandboxed demo application - i'm paranoid i'm a web developer.

Graphics look fun though, I like old style simple games where your not under the pressure of multi player frenetic time constraints, just you and your imagination on a rainy afternoon!

I'm creating a game that is a lost part at the end of a well known eighties TV series where one member of the ex duo on trying to branch out into flying as a career crashes into the ocean only to wake up in hospital in one if a small group if islands the wealthy secretly hide out in - anyway there a murder and he is on one more case, he was bored in retirement anyway, but these jams are great they push you forward in game creation and having just had a push from another detective jam the "Detective game jam 2025"  that forced me to put in a communication text system so investigating could be done in Happy  to be a part of this jam see what it forces to happen! Cheers!

There's a Ferrari waiting to be tested here, and a new communication system has been added but that means you need to get in the Helicopter and fly Due South to the second island, if you cant wait to land just press V to bail out, then go to the Scifi bar and you can talk to Julia inside - only way out is Escape key at moment, but you may not want to leave!

Hope you have fun - to reverse powerboat press and hold R - only works once you've powered the engine all the way down.

Have fun!

Ok went to page got into Lonely Pickles Hostel

but couldn't move or change screen after entering hotel and music started, even though I tried every key and mouse, however i'm not disappointed, speaking as someone who grew up in the Spectrum, Amstrad, Commodore 64 era, and having a Speccy ( 128K of course ) I had a nostalgic moment with the music and scene, cant wait to see any improvements, Bravo!

Oops posted two when computer decided to cycle for a day, oh well...

In games the Cute Card always wins, Pacman, Mario, Sonic..... maybe Lonely Pickles can join the success! Looking forward to playing it!

In keeping with the theme of revival I'm bringing back the 1980s the greatest decade of them all with a previously unknown chapter at the end of a famous 1980s detective series, all in good fun!

Just added a an active tracking plasma cannon to Battlefleet Down, description in Dev Log.

Oh I know about that, there's never enough time, that could be your next subject, the "case of the stolen time" lol 👍

I didn't criticize, I found it all very smooth and slick changing between functions, you've got it down,  just needs expanded, a labour of love!

Stardew Valley watch out lol. Very impressive smooth shifting between requested functionality, it sooths as it changes between things rather than a jerky movement. Great Stuff!

Fun concept and so minimalist but still fun, great example of why background music is so important, very quicky your in that supermarket music induced trance hunting for the sandwich lol, bravo!

Very slick and well put together, some sort of behind the scenes reset function would be good for investigating because sometimes you want to pass over a clue and read it a second time.

I had forgot to add escape functionality to the new Level 3 scene so fixed that so Players dont go mad trying to wrestle with windows key to get Unity application off, explained all in Devlog, link below, really need to rememeber to add them before uploading a build, sigh...

Very interesting, what did you use? Tech wise, I find myself thinking I could maybe rig up a click HTML Tag and Javascript code could handle image changes, yours seems very slick and well done, bravo!

👍was even thinking of using your game landing page as my screen background for a while there's something eerie and hypnotic about it, you just want to keep staring at it.

So reading the rules, and having just built my additional games in for my portfolio on itch,

Battlefleet Down

Drunk Pirate Island

Miami Life

All built in 2025 I submitted them - trying to do my best to observe rules here.

So currently working on Miami Life so will submit Developer Report release thingy so folks can see i'm continually developing and trying to keep within Jam rules.

Game looks quirky fun from what i can see and read, you can make all the super duper graphic numbers you like then someone builds a super simple Tetris and makes billions, great idea to try your hand with something someone hasn't thought of yet, good show!

I even put it on the Itch page in case the Player really doesnt want to open files, and include instruction :

Keep all files together they need each other

That way the downloaders have everything they need to get it working
