I think my main gripe with the game is that for this style of gameplay similar to Balatro my choices felt like they didn't matter very much unlike the latter. Cards have levels, but since the right card can always beat its counterpart you don't have much incentive to engage with that system. I just kind of kept increasing my income and reducing the cost of cards in the shop until the game became trivial as I'd always have more cards. I think there is a lot of potential here gameplay wise, but it requires a good look at the balancing side of things. Hope this helps!

Thank you so much! I'm glad I could nail the vibes right, hehe. Initially the game wasn't really themed about windows 98, it was gonna take place in real life, identifying suspects to some police case or something lined up against a wall. But when I thought about the timing mechanic, the idea of some annoying thing you had to deal with *popped up* (lol) into my mind and it ended up driving the game's whole aesthetic with it!
The overall presentation is very nice, but I never saw a reason to use any of the paints besides the red and green one other than for fun. I think creating all of these cool powers and no uses for them was a bit of a waste. Other than that its a really cool concept and game, I think you should keep working on it!
Probably the most original and charming game I've played yet! Really nice and cozy vibes, and I love the whole idea of taking pictures of real life books and digitalizing them in blender. My one request would be for a way to inspect the books more precisely to better assert things such as series order, but other than that I really have nothing to point out. Its a concept executed incredibly well! Super cool!
I like the visual style and all the effects, the game is also very responsive and animations feel snappy and satisfying. That being said the gameplay is quite mind-numbing, I stopped playing after a while because the game felt far too easy? Also I don't think it quite fits the theme. Other than that its good.
I said this before the game was finished already, but I really like it! the art is great and fits perfectly with the "not so serious serious" vibe of the game along with the overly fancy fonts and writing. Its also a great fit in both the themes (although I could never finish this game with the timer on haha)! My only critique is that you can very easily abuse the check solution button to find out what the solution is, at least with the timer turned off. Other than that, really solid entry! Great work!
I love the overall vibe, especially the audio and shaders. The gameplay is also really cool, but some of the cheesy puzzles made me feel frustrated instead of clever for solving them. I also wish there was a button for grabbing boxes so moving them around wasn't so janky. The parkour sections were awesome and I wish there were more levels focusing on that. Really good game overall, one of the best I've played so far!
I love everything about this game, but I can't even begin to grasp how it is actually played. It feels like once it clicks it would be really good, but without that knowledge I'm just left confused. The pixel art is absolutely gorgeous and the animations are great too, I really wish I could give this game a higher rating. Good effort!
Pretty creative take on the main theme! The game is quite simple, but it does what it set out to do very well! think the simple artwork is very charming, and some of the anomalies are quite funny. I just wish there was some kind of pointer to what you missed when guessing wrong, as I got pretty confused sometimes. Nice work!
Short but sweet, I love all the care that went into the little details such as the particle effects and the animated text at the start. The concept itself is super creative and an interesting spin on the theme, but it felt a bit underdeveloped. Would have love to have seen more puzzle like mechanics using the gimmick. Cool game overall!
