We are pleased to hear that you liked our game and that we’ve balanced the math-to-funny ratio well (even though math can sometimes be fun too!). Coming up with quest ideas where 0/zero is actually useful was quite a challenge—maybe that’s why the Romans didn’t care much about zero :). Who knows, maybe there’s potential for a sequel ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Absolutely gorgeous game!!! The first jump took me too long, so I felt like the IGN reviewer playing the Cuphead tutorial. XD I love the boss fight with its various difficulties and the predictability of attacks by color. Great job! ;)
P.S.: The kernel panic transition screens between scenes are awesome! <3
Hi Sam,
I'm so glad you and your friend enjoyed the game! I honestly didn’t expect anyone outside my circle of friends to play it, so your feedback means a lot. This version is designed for speedrunning and is simplified and "censored" compared to the original. The original version had a different name and a more complex ending. Answers to your questions:
1. It doesn’t have anything to do with Ohio. It’s just a random mashup of Gen Z slang.
2. Nope, it’s not Drake, it’s actually me :). I even dubbed the jumping and dying sounds myself.
3. Same as above—the title is just random text that sounded funny.
4. There aren’t any. It’s a bit of a joke, inspired by things like movie Leonard Part 6 without earlier parts. It’s also a little like Star Wars starting with Episode IV.
5. In the original version, there were two endings (good and bad). This version only includes the good ending, where the character (me) happily walks through a field while relaxing music plays in the background.
I hope that clears things up! If you have more questions, feel free to reach out to me on Discord (same nickname and profile picture as here). Thanks again to you and your friend for playing the game and for the thoughtful feedback.
Have a great day,
VladikXYZ
