the price is reasonable, and your assets are awesome, I simply don’t agree with placing a CC-BY license (that makes crediting mandatory) or something that the user paid.

I follow a simple philosophy where, I already provided you value with the 5 bucks, and you provided me value with the assets. Sure, that crediting is a small thing, but not every developer likes it.

I think that CC0 goes well with paid assets

5 dollars for a CC-BY is quite harsh IMO

“I bought all the fonts from these guys, and they are awesome, my only complaint is that they are CC-BY​, like, I don’t mind attributing if it was a free asset, but I mean… I already paid for this, you gave me value and I gave it back to you, and you want even more?

This is kinda bad… specially when talking about fonts, when I plan to use them to all of my games”

I have been working on this project for the past 3 weeks, and now I feel it reached a decent playable state. So I launched a free demo to gather some feedback on it.

Exterminant is a mixture of the classic Snake with Brotato. Destroy your targets, eat and grow, your goal is to exterminate every bug on earth.

Sim sim, isso eu entendo, a capa do meu game eu usei como base algo gerado por IA, depois eu só modifiquei com meus traços.

O meu ponto é, o código gerado por IA também é com base no trabalho de outras pessoas, a IA nao aprendeu a programar kkkkk entao falar que “ah, mas a IA ta usando arte dos outros” my borther in christ, tu colocou tua arte na internet porque quis, e eu deixei meu código aberto porque quis, ate um ser humano iria copiar, pra mim, o ponto de “artistas estão sofrendo com a IA” é muito egoista, a IA consegue auxiliar um dev senior mt mais do que 3 juniors junto

eu nao vejo porque isso é um tópico ainda discutivel quando se tu for parar pra pensar, se teu jogo for 80% codado pelo chatgpt (e tiver uma mecanica engajante por causa de um bom game deseign) tu pode passar por cima de outras pessoas que codaram do 0 mas nao conseguiram implementar tudo, ferramentas sao ferramentas, vai de quem quiser usar ou nao

I would love to about why your team scrapped the idea at the start, my shot is due to the coding challenges of some of the features, I had to restart the project 3 times during the jam XD
Thanks for the feedback, I am improving some of the features and fixing some bugs that I found while watching my friend playtest, the progression mechanic is on the list and probably will go through some tweaking.

Thanks for your feedback! I didn't have much time to play test while developing but managed to catch a few bugs while watching my friend playtest :)

Yeah… the grappling didn't have enough polish on time, but I plan to keep working on the project soon and fix some bugs!
