The goal right now is to build a small playable prototype for my game Carnage DayZ. The prototype is meant to test the core gameplay systems rather than be a full game.

For the first milestone I’m aiming for:

• 1 farmhouse map (currently being built)

• 3 weapon types (bat, pistol, shotgun, and AK-47)

• basic building/barricade tools

• 6 zombie enemy types

• 1 boss enemy encounter

The visual style for characters will be 2D sprites in a 3D environment, inspired by classic shooters like Doom.

The main objective is to create a playable survival loop where players defend the house, survive time waves of zombies, and defeat the boss.

If this prototype works well, I plan to expand the project to a demo.

Right now this project is at the prototype stage and is more of a passion collaboration while we build a small playable demo to test the core gameplay systems. If things go well and the project grows or receives funding later, the plan would be to share revenue with contributors involved.

Since you mentioned having around 10 years of experience working with Unity and Unreal, I’d definitely be interested in hearing more about the projects you’ve worked on and what kind of development roles you’ve handled.

I’d also be happy to share more details about the game concept and what I’m aiming to build with the prototype.

Right now this is a prototype passion project focused on building a small simple playable demo to test the core gameplay systems. The goal is to see if the concept works well before expanding development further.

At the moment it would be a collaboration / revenue-share project, and if the game grows or receives funding later I’d absolutely want contributors to share in that success.

Hi everyone,

I’m a game designer / world builder developing a concept for a 3D zombie survival horror game called Carnage DayZ.

The game focuses on players building bases, surviving zombie hordes, and fighting powerful boss enemies in a dangerous world.

I’m looking for a Unity programmer interested in helping create a small prototype to test the core gameplay.
