Hey guys! I just released Viridescent Dragon: Chapter 3! It's the third chapter of my Viridescent Dragon visual novel series. They're kinetic novels, so no alternate paths. They're about an hour to an hour and a half long.

If you haven't yet, please check out Chapter 1, Chapter 2, and the Halloween Special.

Charlotte and Dawn travel to Laseaux to retrieve Queen Tempest and search for Seleste. The Violean Army and many people from around the world will be there for the annual Mach Ball game and the Lady Margaux's coming of age ceremony. What trials will our sea-faring adventurers face yet? This chapter features 5+ CGs and several new characters.

This visual novel was made with Ren'Py. It's also finally available for PC, Mac and Linux.

Hey guys! I just wanted to create a post about a visual novel series I've been working on for a few years now (since 2014, wow!) called Viridescent Dragon. I never really utilized this itch.io community, I just used outside sources for a while to promote it.

Summary:

In the world of Latiaire, Charlotte is a snarky dragon girl with amnesia who wakes up in a forest with a faint mysterious voice in her head and begins a journey to find out who she is. She also meets a few friends along the way and finds out more secrets about the world.

This is a series of relatively short, 30min - 2hr long episodic kinetic novel series. I released 2 chapters and a Halloween Special so far and Chapter 3 is currently in development (I'd say about 60-70% done now).

I added a draft page for Chapter 3, but nothing up yet. I made the first 2 chapters with Visual Novelty software, and the latest and subsequent chapters will use Ren'py.

Hello, guys!

It appears I may have overlooked a few issues within this game. Besides the occasional typos, there is a character whose name is still "???" even though the character's name has been already revealed at some point. There is also a scene where the main character, Charlotte, appears in front of the text box instead of behind it, obscuring some of the text. I know that several of you have downloaded this game already and I am not sure how to just treat any of these future fixes as an update. Only if you want to you can download the newer version once I fix everything, you may.

Here's what you should know if you do not want to re-download the game:

For the character with the "???" name, you should know the name, and as for the obscured text, you can read anything you missed with the log button. Other than those issues there is no other problem that renders the game unplayable.
