I BEG you, please continue this supplement if and when you have time! lol
I love what you've done so far, and it would be incredible to see the finished document.

Hey, Micah! Are you kinda done with Bastards, at this point? Or are you just in no hurry to do anything else with it, and enjoying other systems, for now?
I've really been into Into the Odd / Cairn lately, but I am always sniffing around for some new output for Bastards or maybe a new Bastardized Classic!
Just poking stuff with a stick, and seeing if there's any life left in my favorite little monster. :)
I guess I don't understand...you and another person run two different itch.io accounts, but both sell the same products?
How does that not lead to issues like this more often? Do you both split the income, or did I buy separate "copies" of Glaive and Yaloon from each of you?
I also was thinking more that I could get the entire $8 back for this purchase, since I already paid $10 for the same book over on the other page a long time ago. But does it work that way?
I do take partial responsibility for buying the titles twice. But time has passed, a link brought me to these, and I honestly thought I'd already seen them but just hadn't purchased them as I'd thought I had.
Not sure. Maybe.
Maybe the way it's notated is confusing me. See if I get it, now...
If an 8th Level magic-user puts "Minimal Will" or Effort into a spell, there's no danger if they fail, they will get a Partial Casting if they roll an 8 or above, and a Full Casting on a 12 or higher?
If they decide to put "Total Will" or Effort into the spell, it's easier to cast and they're more likely to manifest a Full Casting...but a failure will result in horrible consequences?
I love everything about this, except I don't understand your references to "putting Will into a spell" and how that influences a Full or Partial spell effect?
I assume this is because you are referring to some spell procedure from your game of choice? But it's not laid out anywhere in this pamphlet that I can see...I may be missing it. What is the actual procedure for the action of casting a spell, investing Will into it, etc?
Thanks very much for the reply! That all sounds reasonable.
Again, I really love your layout and style on this...concise explanations, more classic fantasy than Into the Odd and closer to my feelings playing D&D as a kid than Cairn, yet still easily compatible with either. I'll definitely be following for more.
If you're ever looking for any more art collaborators for future products, I'm more than willing to send some samples.
I just finished flipping through this, and I think it's a wonderful condensation and restatement of the Into the Odd rules! It does a very good job of concisely restating all of the general rules and concepts of ItO, while injecting your own small tweaks without them feeling "tacked on."
I VERY much like your one-page takes on the different races, and the similarity to the Bastionland and Cairn layout of a short description with some randomized backgrounds and gifts for each. This really is a great, rules-lite method of injecting any heritage or background variations anyone could ask for, regardless of genre!
I was puzzled by one thing...there are no wizards? I could almost understand if we didn't focus on making them a player option, but there isn't even discussion of magic-using entities in the NPC/Enemies section.
You mention "spells" a couple of times, instead of "songs" or "sagas," and I was wondering if this is a system you plan to expand upon later?

Seeing how you can help? Does the Support crew here not help walk you through things like this?
This was the only response I got from them...
"Hello,
Thanks for reaching out. As this developer receives direct payments, it is possible that they may need to complete the sale on their end. We are including them on this email to attempt to complete the purchase."
Assuming I like the two I've purchased, I'd like to buy the rest...but I would like to be able to know that the transactions would go through correctly. lol
