Hello all,

we released our game Meteor Mess 7 months ago (https://vampyre-games.itch.io/meteor-mess), but I still can't find it via search.

I've read all information on this page:

but I couldn't find a reason why we're still not indexed.

Also, some people have reported to us that they get a warning about "suspicious behavior" when they try to download the game.

We don't know why, and we've tried contacting Itch support several times, but other than the automated email response, we've never received a reply. I myself never got this warning when I tried to download the game, but we have feedback from several people around the world that they got this warning.

Any advice on what we could do or why there is this annoying warning (I suspect the "not indexing" issue is also due to this warning)?

Ok, thanks for the reminder, I simply forgot about that. I'll make up for it immediately.

On October 5th we published our Maniac Mansion remake Meteor Mess.

It's a free fan remake and a homage to a game that has a special place in our lives.

This version contains voice-overs, new rooms, objects and puzzles and even a complete new way to solve the game.

Hey there,

unfortunately some very few virus scanners report a false positive scan. It's not malware and actually the scanners don't have problems with installation files created with InnoSetup. We don't know why those few scanners think there's a problem, but we can assure that it's no malware.
