Hi, I'm looking for a 2D artist to help make the 2D assets / UI for future updates to my game Cosmic Leadfoot. I'm currently thinking of having a style similar to Castle Crashers (Not the remasterd graphics), I'm going for that classic flash era/cartoony look, but I'm open to other styles. Ideally, I'd like to keep this as low budget as possible. For I only make $100 USD/month. But I'm willing to spend some money as long as it's not more than I make. The plan is to eventually release a Steam version. So I'm more than willing to split the revenue when the time comes.
If you're interested please lmk! I greatly look forward to your reply. :D
Took a minute to figure out how to play. I'd say even after kinda understanding it's still unclear how to actually play. I think I'd be more invested if this played like a actual chess game but with the balaltro twist. I'd play the shit outta that game. Especially with a multiplayer mode! You should continue working on this!

Hi. I've decided on the game I'm going to make for the jam. I'm looking for a 2D artist, pixel or otherwise, to make the sprites/ ui assets. That way I can focus on developing the game. I have some decent experience with gamemaker, teams, and game jams.
I'm intending to make a space game about delivering passengers to their destinations. I'll elaborate more in DMs.
Please HMU if interested.
I have this idea to develop a game about a multi powered superhero inspired by the Infamous games (especially second son), the tv show heroes, and to a much lesser extent mha and marvel / dc.
I have some knowledge with programming however I'm not experienced with 3D games. I do however have extensive knowledge of 3d modeling and animation.
I'm looking for programmers, concept artist and writers so that I can focus on directing the game and modeling everything.
HMU if you're interested!
So unfortunately life was really busy during May so I wasn't able to do the June 1st launch. But that's okay because now I have a clearer picture of what needs to be done before I release the beta. To summarize what has been done the..
- Player
- Witch
- tilled soil
- carrot base stages
sprites have been finished. I've also figured out the style for the game and decided how many crops will be in the first release. There will be 10 crops (not including giga and mega forms) in the first beta. Also I'm aiming for a July - August release. As always if you want to stay up to date you join the official discord server where I post what I'm working on in real time. Link is on the first post.
I've been trying to develop a game for a few years now. After trying to do it with a team I eventually burnt myself out from several failed projects. So I took a break for a few months. During that time the idea of Gourmand was born. Originally it was going to be a game jam entry, but I didn't really have the programming knowledge to do it in 3 days. So it baked in my mind for a few more months. A friend of mine once told me that, "Sometimes, you really do just have to it all by yourself." And so I did!
During mid December of 2024, I impulsively started working on Gourmand. Just to see if it'd be fun... Then I got distracted by other things for about 2 months. But thanks to my 2 closest friends keeping me accountable with deadlines, we've been back in business since mid February. The first deadline was to get the game in a, "extreme barebones playable state" by the end of February. I completed that in a week. Then completed the next deadline's goals in 3 days. So yes, I'm very committed to releasing this game.
So what is Gourmand?
Gourmand is a stressful, chaotic farming sim. Inspired by games like, Atomicrops, Stardew Valley, and basically any game made by The Behemoth.
The premise is that you just bought a farm intending to live a peaceful life. Until a witch comes to your farm and demands you give her an increasing amount of food for her to consume or be turned into a turnip.

Original concept for Gourmand
Current state of the game.
Currently the game is playable but lacking content, any real challenge, and official art. I've been spending most of my fleshing out the base mechanics as well as slowly adding in new features. The game's foundation is about 75% of the way there to what I originally envisioned the gameplay loop to be. I just have a few more things to implement and then we'll be in Alpha 1.0... Or would it be Beta 1.0..? I don't know, you get the point.

Game as it currently stands
When will the game be publicly available?
My plan right now is to release a free beta around June 1st.
How much will the non-free versions be?
My current plan is for the game to be $5 (USD) initially. Then $10 (USD) once the 1.0 release is out.
Do you plan to release it on steam?
Ideally yes, but that depends on the reception the game gets.
Future updates planned after June release.
I'm not going to promise that everything on here will make it. But some of the things I'd like to add are..
- procedural generation
- more NPCs
- Automation
- lighting
- Player house interior (think animal crossing)
- pets
- more food sources
- magic
Where can you stay upto date on the development?
I have a discord where I'll be posting bts stuff more frequently.

Attack of the Mold is a 3D Roguelike with RTS elements. You play as a customer in a store commanding your food minions against the moldlings. We primarily just need a concept artist but if you can texture as well that'd be great. Our goal is to release the Beta December 1st.
Our talent: 1 3D Modeler/Director (Me) and 1 Programmer
Split %: 25% goes to the company to finance future projects. The remaining amount will be a 3 way split amongst the 3 of us (Assuming it remains just the 3 of us). If you want to just be paid based on your work instead we can negotiate something.
For years now I have wanted to make a spiderman game. Unfortunately though, I can't program. I've tried repeatedly to learn and the best that I can do is the low level stuff in GML. Once complex math is involved I don't understand anymore. BUT! I can 3d model, texture, and animate. So if I could get even just 1 programming we're in business!!! I can't garrentee you'll get paid. Spiderman is owned by Sony so we can't really sell the game unless we somehow manage to convince them to let us. Which I don't think will happen tbh. So any funding will probably be through a patreon or something similar.
Anyways! What I am looking for are people with skills in writing, programming, music &or drawing (concept art). Above all though I'm looking for spiderman fans that know the source material. Specifically the original The Amazing Spiderman by Stan Lee & Steve Ditko.
I'm going to keep this brief but my idea for the game is to a young spiderman during his highschool years. He's still learning his powers. He'll have to learn to balance his life between being peter parker and being spiderman. Think The Spectacular Spiderman TV Show.
Below are some pictures I've found accross the internet just to give you an idea of what I am imagining.
