Thanks for playing and for the feedback, really happy to see someone make it that far!

Sorry about the performance issues - I'm aware of these issues and will get around to them as soon as I can :)

Ah darn, I'll likely switch to mouse by default when I rework the mechanic so that should help.

Thank you for the detailed info about the performance issue, that helps a ton, will investigate :)

Thank you for the helpful feedback! I will definitely do that if I stay with this default control scheme.

If you click once within the game window to focus it that issue should go away.

What are the symptoms of a memory leak on your end? If there's substantial lag one issue is having the hardware acceleration setting in your browser turned off. Will look into the possible memory leak as well though.

Sorry for the confusion! You have to press spacebar in order to start firing. I've added control info onto the page for now.

Let me know if you run into any other issues, will make this more clear in the future!

EDIT: The firing mechanic has changed quite a bit so spacebar is no longer used, it's now the left and right click of the mouse.

Very nice! Although looks like the base_color uniform isn't used in the shader? Just had to set COLOR near the bottom to get it working :)

Thanks so much for taking the time to play!

Thank you for playing!

Yeah for chrome the game is unplayable for me, but somehow microsoft edge works great? People have quite varied experiences with the web build, which is why we included the note on the page :')

Thank you so much for the kind words!

If you'd like please let us know what specific bugs you encountered!

Thank you so much!

Vibes of this one are immaculate - felt like I was just having a fun summer day launching my rocket as far as I could into the big blue :')

Sometimes it felt like I couldn't get my launch power as high even though I was pulling backwards as I usually did.

Great entry!

Well polish puzzle platformer / kirby-like!! Do think smaller levels / checkpoints could help with pacing, but great stuff nonetheless :)

Very clever game!! And who can't help but love the power of friendship :`)

Fun and well-polished game, great stuff!! I love knowledge-based games :)

I think having a clear objective for game jams can be great, and I think there's already a great one in here of finding all the spells which is what I focused on trying to do :)

Also this might just be me, but I would love a mode where I can move with WASD, and switch to typing by hitting something like space so that I could hit PEAK productive wizardry (which would work if everything was one word, so maybe a different key if you wanted two words like 'unlimited power' :))

O! And maybe a way to incentivize different spell usage? I felt like being able to spam the same spell led to me just typing the most broken one I knew of at that point repeatedly.

Overall had a lot of fun, thanks!

Ahh yes the checkpoints are a bit buggy :') Glad you persevered! Thanks for playing!

Crazy that people are making deckbuilders in a week 0_0

Amazing stuff!

Original take on the theme and a fun little game! Great entry :)

Great atmosphere :)

Thank you so much for playing and for the kind words!

Not originally, but once we had the original idea in place we did refer to it as 'Abandon Yoshi The Game' xD Funny you noticed that as well!

Loved your game as well :)

Nice! Super juicy and fun arcade game :)

lolol brings back good ol times :')

very funny and original take on the theme :)

Thank you so much for the kind words!

Thank you!

Holy orblorgoni we're going to take that phrase now thank you xD

Thank you so much for the kind words!! Makes me so happy to hear that the orblorgo mechanics are interesting :`)

Had so so much fun with your game as well!

Dig the risk of rain vibes :) And the right click attack makes me feel especially powerful

Nice entry! Original concept, tough, and engaging :)

Fun and challenging game, great entry!

Thank you so much for taking the time to play it! Loved your entry :O

Nice! Innovative controls and a fresh take on the climbing genre of games, you can even throw rocks in this one 0_0

The intro cutscene also reminds me of one of my favorite youtubers Crazy Boris Productions :O

This is my favorite take on climbing if you haven't seen it yet, you might enjoy it: Klifur by Torfi

Great entry!!

You know it had to be ride or die brother

Incredible game, every joke made me cackle, perfect game no notes - can't wait to see Dunkey play this

WOW! This is an amazing entry, it's incredibly clever and the most original take on the theme I've seen so far. Amazing job :O

A strand type game, of course, how did I not think of this 0_o

lolol this is one of the funniest games I've played in the jam so far xD Loved the visual presentation and mechanics - at one point my horse got in the cart but that didn't matter and that was exactly what I wanted xD

I like how each level introduces a subtle strand type mechanic, would love to see more iteration on that as well!

I think with some more feedback on my pizza delivery performance and audio this game would go even harder than it already does :o

Great entry!! You might also enjoy the goofy vibes of our game :)

ZZOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM

Love the presentation and feeling of zipping through this game on the horse shaped glide suit xD I love the 2d billboard aesthetic in games

Great stuff! You might also enjoy our game for it's high octane thrills 0_0

Loved the presentation and campiness of the game xD

Super simple, original, and fun!! Loved the presentation as well :)

The sandboxy nature of the game and doing horrible things to innocent creatures also came out in our entry xD You might enjoy it as well!

Loved the presentation!! I think some more feedback for swinging the sword and successfully parrying would go a long way as well!

Number go up 0_0

Love swinging mechanics!! Art is also very cute :)

Music and presentation is great!!

Think it would help to provide some visual feedback as to how to avoid enemy attacks, which might also provide another form of skill expression to the player as they learn how to dodge attacks!

Would love to see how the mechanics can be expanded upon as well :)

You might enjoy our game as well! It can get pretty tough just like this one :)

Thank you so much for playing!

Funniest game I've played so far, the presentation on this is great xD Beyond just the visual style, I loved being surprised when I learned I could run, jump, grapple kick, and they were all implemented in a goofy way, wonderful!

Also including an options menu was huge, don't think I could make it through with inverted mouse movement, so was delighted when you included options! Great job!

Our game has a bit of a goofy vibe to it as well, you might enjoy it!
