Hey! I’ve pushed a new update to the Fantasy Lands asset pack, and this one adds more gameplay-oriented assets and expands the grassland set. For this first update, I wasn't sure what to add or what direction to go in. So, for now, I just tried to add the most basic stuff, in different areas, so make this pack, in general, bigger.

https://vairus-studio.itch.io/fantasy-lands

This update focuses on making the pack more useful for real game prototypes, not just environments.

What’s new

Player assets

  • Player movement animation
  • Climbing animation
  • Punching animation (for example, for mining a tree)

Environment & props

  • Bushes with berries
  • Workbench
  • Furnace

Tiles & terrain

  • 2 new grass color variations (3 total grass colors now)
  • Rock elevation tiles
  • Deeper water and very deep water tiles (darker variants for depth)

Fences

  • 1-layer wooden spiky fence (vertical & horizontal)
  • 2-layer wooden fence with all connection variants

Items

  • Item icons for some environment objects (inventory-style sprites)

About the pack

Fantasy Lands is a growing pixel art asset pack for 2D fantasy games. The goal is to slowly expand this into a full world-building toolkit with biomes, props, characters, and enemies.

Next plans

  • More grassland props and details
  • New biomes
  • More environment tiles
  • Enemies and NPC sprites

Fantasy Lands – Grassland is out 🌱

I’m happy to release the first version of Fantasy Lands, a growing pixel art asset pack for 2D fantasy games: https://vairus-studio.itch.io/fantasy-lands

This release focuses on a grassland biome and includes trees, plants, props, tiles, and small details to help build a simple fantasy world. Everything is made in 16×16 pixel art, uses the Apollo palette, and is ready to slice and use in engines like Unity or Godot.

This pack is planned as a long-term project. Future updates will expand it with new biomes, more environment tiles, additional props, and eventually characters and enemies.

There are two versions available:

  • Basic package with part of the content
  • Premium package with the full set

If you check it out, feedback is always welcome. Thanks for the support — more updates coming.

This pack is intended for use in farming games, RPGs, life sims, platformers, and casual or cozy projects.

Feedback is welcome. More small pixel packs are planned.

Hello everyone

I’ve decided to re-release / re-upload Up To Survive, one of my earlier projects: https://vairus-studio.itch.io/up-to-survive

This game was originally made as a small experiment and learning project, but I recently went back to it to clean things up and make the experience a bit smoother before publishing it again.

What’s new in this version

I made several small but important improvements:

  • Improved jump physics to feel more responsive and consistent
  • Adjusted lava rising speed for better pacing and challenge
  • Updated lava visual effects to make it clearer and more dynamic
  • Fixed a few minor bugs and glitches

No major gameplay changes — the core idea remains the same: climb upward, avoid the lava, and survive as long as you can.

Why re-upload?

I’m currently organizing and publishing some of my older projects alongside new work, both to preserve them and to share my progress as a developer over time. This re-release reflects a slightly more polished version of the original game.

Thanks to anyone who checks it out or gives feedback.

Hi everyone!

I published, re-uploaded, my old, first game here: https://vairus-studio.itch.io/jump-on-block

It's a simple platformer with 5 levels. You can play in the browser. As well as download for free, any OS.

Goal is to reach the flag while overcoming obstacles as well as collecting coins to buy hearts. Each try you'll have 5 starting hearts.

It's a short game. If you want something short and challenging at times, I'd be glad if you just checked it out.

Thank you!

Hey everyone 👋

I’ve just released a hand-crafted pixel art Weapons & Tools pack designed for 2D games (top-down or side-view).

The art is:

  • 16×16 native resolution

  • Made to be easily held or equipped by characters

No AI was used.

🆓 Free Version

Includes a basic Iron weapons & tools set, great for prototyping, jams, or testing the style.

⭐ Paid Version

The complete pack includes:

  • Multiple material variants (bronze, stone, iron, gold, mixed, special)

  • Future updates possibly

Both packs work great in Unity and any 2D engines.

Feedback is very welcome — I plan to expand this pack over time if there is demand.
