For sure. I was thinking a story in between levels! Where your guy talks to the previous versions of himself maybe the first version is all arrogant, middle guy is really worn down, etc.

No way! You do family tech support because you love them!
Appreciate you checking out our game - I'm going to try and get yours running here but I don't have the right machine for the job, sounds like it turned out really well though - congrats

Yeah for sure - kind of ironic given what the game is about but I had some personal obligations take me away from development at a crucial moment. The team wants to add the rest of the planned features once the jam wraps though.
Thanks for playing!

Neat idea - dual mechanics like that are always really interesting. I feel like it would be fun with some action sequences? Anyway - well done!

Some of us want to do a post jam version, I feel like that'd be one of the first things that gets done for sure!
Hey great work on your game as well

Thanks man - likewise! I really enjoyed your game

Just really great work on this, that's a really great entry - congrats!

Great use of the theme! I know it's a big ask for a game jam but I feel like a narrative component would be really cool. Well done!

Really well done. I like how simple the player character is while still feeling really alien.
Also the shooting feels really good, that can be tricky to pull off.
Congrats!

Hell yeah dude - good game

Why do they make these remotes so complicated!

Yeah I get you. I think with a longer development time there might have been some room to do more endings. With the time we had we really wanted to drive home that feeling that there's no getting out of your tech support obligations and they're never ending.
Thanks for playing, and well done with your game!

A cool twist on a classic there. Well done!

Absolutely flawless entry right here!

Great idea here - and well implemented. Great work!

That animation when the frog hits the bird cracked me up.

Gotcha - cool, thanks!

For sure for sure - and what about the dates?

(1 edit)

Hey - just wanted to clarify a few things.
The dates of the jam are listed as February 28th to August 31st, but the description says the deadline is September 30th - what's the actual end date there?
Also - I saw there's no restrictions on tech used to make the game, are there any rules around team size?

Thanks! Me and some buds have been looking for a longer jam. This is perfect

Very fun!

Love the art and execution - all around just a great time!

Couldn't break your map or game loop - and I tried - believe me.

Really great idea and execution!

Thanks for playing! But yeah - I realized maybe 20 minutes after the jam that the pill should never spawn right in front of you, that one gets a lot of people. Looking forward to giving your game a go!

Thanks for the feedback and playing!

Big thanks for pointing that out in the instructions as well - that was a real face palm moment on my end, glad I could fix it early!

Honestly, just great work

Thanks so much for taking the time to play, and for writing up the feedback!

I'm planning on putting together a 'kill pill: Evolved' in the next week or two and will for sure take this into consideration ~ controller support is for sure a good call.
