Omg I didnt even think of that. I'ma do that lol, thanks so much.

EDIT: It worked.

^ This is the term I'm referring to ^

------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. What does it mean by "new account"?

I've waited a week after deleting an account and attempted to assign that account's email address to this one, but its apparently 'still in use'. This account isn't new, it was made a year or two ago now.

2. How long is the 'temporary lock" on the email address?

Self-explanatory question, I'm just wondering how long I could be waiting for the  email address to become unlocked since it doesn't specify.

3. Is the part about being 'unable to use the email address for new accounts' temporary or not?

The sentence separates the two main points using 'and' instead of placing the two into distinct sentences:

"temporarily be locked     and     can not be used for a new account"

So are both terms temporary, or only the 'locked' part?
I feel like they should've been put into separate bullet points to avoid confusion, since I read this assuming it meant both conditions were temporary, though now I'm doubting it.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

!!! I'm really desperate right now, so this next part is likely against the rules- but I don't have anywhere else I can ask for help with this issue since the itch.io support email didn't work for me. I'm aware I may not even get a response to this so it's a shot in the dark I suppose.

I'm in a complicated situation right now with this account, and I don't want to waste anyone's time so I've put my questions above for those who care more about that.  However, I have an issue that I emailed itch support for but received no response to it (my request is '200893' according to an email I received after).

To summarise why I'm asking for support here instead of via the support email like the rules specify, it's because I can't use my email address. The email address associated with this account is for a Google Account that I've terminated, meaning I can no longer access it, no matter what. There's a reddit user who I think had a similar issue to me in this post on the itch.io reddit a year ago:

https://www.reddit.com/r/itchio/comments/10nox7v/itchio_support_really_needs_imp...

Since itch.io seems to rely on you using the associated primary email for your account for most actions, I can't get a response anywhere else as similarly to what this person states, its expecting for me to use an email that no longer exists to get support.

I figured a workaround to this- since I still have this account's password- would be to change the email to another email address, however I'd forgot about an alt account I had which used the email address I intended on using.

As such, I deleted this other account to make the other email address available again to replace my terminated email on this account, but a week later, its 'still in use' and I think I've misunderstood what the term at the start of this post actually meant.

I know this isn't the right place to be asking for account support, but I've explained my situation and I've provided a more in-depth explanation with imagery in the email I made to itch.io support. I'd provide the imagery here, but the rules state not to put private information down, so I don't think I can.
If you have read this, thank you, and sorry again for putting this here, I don't know what else to do.

I got this from another comment asking about the same thing.

I wanted to purchase the game using credit card as opposed to Paypal, and by the seems of it, card payments were open in July on the third and fourth days of the month.  Was this a one-time occurrence or does it work differently than that?

Just tried it with Firefox and it came back with 'Failed- cloudflarestorage.com'.

No idea honestly lol, thanks anyways.

This game can just be very unlucky unfortunately.  Obviously being based off of the original FNaF, Fuzzboobs works in the exact same way with some minor tweaks, and FNaF itself is very RNG based in some regard.

If you want a more in-depth explanation for why this is, watch Tech Rules' video on dissecting Five Nights At Freddy's' AI (as it mostly transfers over to this game too- I think).

All in all, this isn't a flawless guide- it can't be, since everyone adopts different strategies. Especially for a night that's actually difficult like Night 6 or 4/20, where you might need to take risks to conserve power, different people will do different things.

There's probably better guides out there somewhere in all the posts, but either way it goes, the issues you're finding with Bonnie & Foxy are pretty consistent with what I experienced in my playthrough as well, and I'm pretty confident it's likely just bad luck.

For Bonnie, don't use the lights at first. Hear her  arrive and just shut the door. Leave it for 3-5 seconds and flash the light on the door. If she's not gone, don't keep flashing, wait 3-5 seconds again.

For Foxy, she's an asshole. She can arrive whenever she wants really, and checking on her is only necessary because if you don't, she will arrive quicker on average. In the video I've referenced from Tech Rules, seeing how Foxy's system works makes it clear why this is the case.

In actuality, this guide may be useless in regards to Night 6 because my notes on Bonnie & Chica are made considering that in 4/20 mode, Bonnie & Chica actually leave the quickest out of any of the nights. If you look at Night 1, Bonnie & Chica stay at the door for ages, and this is because their low AI difficulty stops them from moving quickly. In 4/20, they're at max speed, so they arrive often but disappear in seconds.

In Night 6 however, they are middle of the road at around 10 AI difficulty out of 20. In fact, I checked the video and these are the AI statistics:

[Bonnie = 10, Chica = 12, Foxy = 16] This would actually explain why you are having troubles with Bonnie in particular and not Chica. Bonnie's AI difficulty is lower than Chica so she'll arrive and stay longer before leaving.

As '20' is just the other way of saying '100% chance to move at every opportunity', Bonnie being at '10' halves this to a 50% chance. This means every few seconds, you're getting a 50% chance for her to leave the door- in your case, Bonnie keeps failing this 50% chance and stays at the door. That's what makes Night 6 so infuriating, as an AI level 10 can act similarly to a '20' or '1' AI interchangeably due to the chance for leaning towards one or the other being only 50%.

I'll stop writing now, as not everyone likes a long-winded response, and I'll cut this short. I highly recommend the video if you're looking to try beat the game and this guide isn't flawless, even with luck factored in.

{Since they could've re-worked the game to their own system, the video may be redundant but I highly doubt this is the case, I'm unsure though}

Hope this wasn't too tedious to read :/
Good luck.

It might just be me but every time I try to download the file for it, it cuts my download off half-way through and tells me the 'File isn't available on site'.

In my actual download history, it says 'Failed - Forbidden' which apparently means I don't have permission to download the file according to Google.

Does anyone know of a reason for this?

Unfortunately, I don't know of any cheat engines. However, since I know it's quite common for these sorts of games, you may be able to search online for a downloadable 100% file. I've done this for others games before, and while I don't know of any links for this game in particular, I'm sure searching it up online should find you something.

Just be aware of viruses and such, obviously I can't really predict that for you :/

I haven't played this game in over a year, and completely forgot I ever posted this until I got your notification. Also, I'm very fucking wordy so sorry if this ends up being a long read, lol.

To put simply, Freddy's AI is a bitch, and none of what I can recommend will work every time.

She moves at intervals that I can't remember, and I know this because I used to use a speed-run timer, and I noticed Freddy always moved at certain periods of time throughout the night. I discovered this after making the guide however, and I never remembered to update it.

From what I remember (which may be wrong), Freddy's AI works in two ways:
- If you open the camera while the door is opened, she will enter your office automatically.
- If the door is open, and she reaches a movement interval, she'll enter your office regardless of if the camera is opened or not.

The closing of the door while opening the cameras is necessary because it prevents her automatic entry.
The second condition is unpredictable unfortunately.

When I beat the night, she happened to reach this interval while I was checking the camera with the door closed, which allowed me to keep it open for the rest of the night and saving me a lot of power. But if you are dying at 5AM to Freddy, it's because she's reaching the interval while you're in your office and not checking the camera- I'd assume.

I recommend one of three things to try predict when to shut the door at her interval:

1. If you are good at multitasking, count from the start of the night and keep record of the times between each of Freddy's movements. This means once Freddy reaches the final room, you should theoretically count down from a number similar to the other counts and then keep the door shut, predicting that Freddy moves again at that rough time.

For example, let's say Freddy has 5 movements until she reaches the final room;

She takes 40 seconds for her first movement, 35 for her second, 37 for her third, 43 for her fourth and 40 for her fifth and now she's outside your office.

You would then count to a number roughly around 40 (pushing the time to be longer or shorter based on how risky you want to be) and then shut the door until she moves again, to which she'll move backwards and you don't have to worry about her again for likely the rest of the night. If she does move forward again, repeat this.

2. If you aren't so good at multitasking, you can use a timer software such as LiveStock, which would allow you to record Freddy's intervals without the need to count, but it does take some setting up and you may need to use a few Youtube videos to get a handle on how it works. This also really only works for PC.

You could probably even find a timer app on your phone if you wanted to as well, though I don't know of any to recommend.

3. Without a count for her intervals, the only other option is to guess or get lucky. You either keep retrying until you get lucky and Freddy moves while the door is shut and you're on the camera, or if your gut feeling tells you it's been long since Freddy has moved, shut the door and pray she reaches her interval in at least the next fifteen seconds, or else you're wasting power.

Everything I've written prior is mainly applied to 4/20 since it's much stricter (and at that, it's still a pretty shit guide for 4/20), but you mentioned you're on Night 4.

I'd assume these strategies could still apply, but I reckon you could bullshit your way through it by just keeping the door shut after 5AM to be honest. Of course I might be wrong, but again, it's been a year so I wouldn't know anymore unfortunately.

In conclusion: No, you haven't misunderstood anything and it's not a glitch either. Freddy's just a dingus.

Hopefully this wasn't too confusing to read, and also, I hope it helps.

Good luck.

Descending misery

This can't be the case because I've whitelisted it. This means my Windows automatically ignores it and I have no anti-virus other than the automatic Windows system. I've also scanned through files my Window has quarantined and nothing is appearing there.

Thanks anyways, I wouldn't of realised I could check it.

(1 edit)

I've whitelisted the file on my Windows and whenever I try to run it, the file does nothing.

I tried to get around this by running it as Administrator and then it finally opened, but the window for it was flashing for some reason as if it wasn't loading properly.

Once the game loaded, it stopped and so I played the game until I got caught by one of the animatronics, my game froze and the flashing restarted so I had to close it.

Is there any other possible things that could be causing this other than the Windows issue?

Edit: I did a second run and no flashing occurred when I got caught, however it did remain on a black screen and none of my keys were doing anything.

Oh lol, I know how the puzzle works, I've beaten the game before. I'm pointing out a bug where it didn't let me use the Continue button on the menu, it's been fixed for me now though. Thanks anyways :)

I had progressed up to the point of having all three statues in the first area. I went to press Continue but the button did nothing. I then pressed New Game and I spawned at the beginning with all of my inventory from my previous save. Also, I spawned by a street lamp and not the beginning room.

I believe other than what I'd already mentioned, no- nothing extra unless they update it. I recently got a new PC and had to restart from a new game and I'm thinking of adding a full 4/20 guide to this post as I've realised more things in attempting to complete 4/20 mode again.

I want to keep the main guide up as it works for Nights 1 through 6 but definitely not 4/20. I only now get how lucky I was to beat it originally.

I didn't get this issue so I wouldn't know, sorry.

It's entirely random to when Foxy wants to. There's been times where I've still gotten her 3 times in one night, coming up to a 4th one by 5AM. Generally, you want a run where she appears around 2AM and one where she appears around 4AM, but it's entirely luck. The camera is still necessary but the AI can still decide to screw you over either way.

I figured it'd just be sending the files over Discord but you can't send anything more than 8MB without Nitro on it so it doesn't really make sense to me either. I don't know how they do it, sorry.

I don't have any specifics for it, all I know is that it was enough to at least reduce Foxy's appearances during the night to 2 times only (except for 4/20 when it's basically guaranteed to get Foxy 3 times- in that night, checking the camera is only to stop Foxy from coming any more than 3 times).

Generally, when checking the camera, you are aiming to be on and off as quickly as possible. When done you can optimise by waiting 2 seconds before flicking to check again. This way its frequent while not taking too much power.

The camera blackouts are caused by movement within the camera so it's either Foxy progressing out of the cove or Bonnie moving in and out of the camera.

{This is a Guide for anyone who wants to find a fairly optimal strategy, although this one still has flaws}

So I figured I'd try to help those struggling to beat the later nights, including 4/20 Mode, by giving a strategy that I used for a majority of my playtime with this game.

Quick Note:

I must mention, I beat 4/20 Mode on my third attempt by sheer luck with this method of sort: it turned 5AM the moment the power went out, and Freddy stalled long enough for me to beat the night.

Point is, good luck doing this method on 4/20 mode; with a lucky run, it is definitely possible, since I got Foxy 3 times in my run instead of the optimal 2, but that's a rare chance.

Power Guideline:

An *estimate* guideline including power taken by Foxy of the power you want to have at any given time:

1AM: 85% | 2AM: 65% | 3AM: 45-50% | 4AM: 30% | 5AM: 15%

Foxy:

Firstly, Foxy is the most important;- Always keep the camera on Booty Cove, and if Foxy comes out before 1AM, just restart unless you want to try your luck (or you are playing 4/20 Mode where it is basically guaranteed). Same goes for if you get Foxy attacking a third time, unless its 5AM in which you can use the strategy I mention below to cut her off as the power goes out.

It takes a lot of power to shut the door and trigger Foxy's dash, so I experimented and I've figured out that Foxy has a sound cue as she enters the office, which is a quick three steps (if you want to try recognize it, shut the right door and leave the left door open, waiting for Foxy to attack if you want to hear what I'm referring to- as a test).

The moment you see foxy out of her cove, do not shut the door or check the hallway. Be ready to shut the door the moment you hear the sound cue, hovering over the door button and not checking the cameras (of course, Chica could be a nuisance but it all comes down to luck, this is just the most optimal strategy for power).

Final thing I should mention: Do not refrain from checking Foxy as often as you want. If you don't check her as often as you can, you'll lose more power from her hitting the door than you will from actually checking on her.

Bonnie & Chica:

Bonnie and Chica are just random whether or not they go away, however they definitely go away quicker on 4/20 Mode.

I also should mention, I do not recommend using door lights at all unless you are checking if Chica or Bonnie have left or if you've heard the footsteps outside of the door that signal their arrival.

Freddy:

From what I've found, even on 4/20 Mode, Freddy seems to only get to the right door by around 5AM, 4AM if you are unlucky.

To make it brief, I've tested it and Freddy will attack you if you leave the door open, and sit doing nothing. If you ever check the camera, do so with the right door shut every time.

If you hear Freddy laugh again, she has went back to the previous camera to the Closet, and you are free to forget about her for, most likely, the rest of the night.

[Edit: I'm back a year later and this guide is already convoluted. I also don't want to write out another bunch of paragraphs, so for more information on Freddy, go to one of my replies under this comment. It covers some extra things on Freddy and ways to (try) and combat her.]

------------------------------------------------------------------------

[I've made this guide because this game contains elements that FNAF 1 doesn't, that can allow you to further optimize your strategy- Freddy seemingly being able to enter the office if you leave the door open too long or Foxy's sound cue as she is about to enter your office & etc.]

------------------------------------------------------------------------

After Completion of Night 6:

I don't know if this is commonly known, but following the completion of Night 6, to 100% Complete the game, you must then also click on the blue donut in the Office a few times for the "Glazed" Scene, type in '1987' on Night 7 and (I think) you must beat the night, and then finally type in '6969' on Night 7 for the Golden Freddy Scene-

(And 4/20 Mode, but that's a given)

I Hope this helps someone,  Good Luck!
