A billion dollars...
Bruh, that's some serious greed problem right there, if one grinds for candy wrappers that badly – even in a small NSFW videogame. xD

Maybe game should have some bad ending for that case, like if you got over 10 million $ – you get "IRS open up" event at 3 AM. (  -_-)
In that game there's really no sense ever making more.

Btw, it's mostly useful for equipping pressure plate mines – those are a real WMD in that game. ( x_x)

Yeah, I'll try again once new version comes out...
Agree on seeing bad endings not being good for one's mental health – I remember not paying rent once, for reasons of investing all my money into stonks trade... Had good amount stored in coins, but didn't noticed how rent day creeped in(got knocked out due to tiredness).
And I was shocked that you're being immediately forced out into cold, by police, and with all of your stuff smashed  or thrown out of the window, including Jun. ( x_x)
They didn't even let me walk 2 steps to computer and convert the money.
This is pretty terrible, the Landlord was a jerk of course – but I didn't expected him actually DREAMING of literally ruining me, and having this trap prepared and charged all along...
If I lived like that IRL, and rented an apartment from someone who I knew(!) wished me harm THIS badly – I would changed place of living immediately. ( -_-)
Or maybe preemptive-attacked first...
That was a bad neighborhood, with lots of bad people after all – assaults and accidents happening all the time. ( ≖_≖)

Accidentally found it...
I kinda love it. 😍

TP is pretty much shop keeper "momentarily remembering" that he owes you some change. 😅
If you walk out the shop – all of these burn up.
Coins are real money meanwhile, ones you can keep and hoard.

Try it, and look up into inventory. 🙂

Maybe he presses ctrl, which makes Lona eat the weeds/fruits/vegetables on the run.

Oh, I get it – like Overly Attached Girlfriend. 🫠👩🏻

In a way, there are such characters already:
1. Bobo the Pig – fits perfectly, he requires regular "petting" 😘 for him to continue following you (each time adds more days of companionship).
Only, having kids with him is impossible, which is probably a good thing;

2. In a way, these 2 companions... They woud follow you, in exchange for mating. 🧐
Only, it's inconvenient that you can't replenish the days while on the run – and gotta return to the Fishtopia tavern.
I think it's more of a bug/incomplete  develoment – would make total sense being able to prolong companionship while travlling, and the older guy even mentions this in his dialogues. That you would "give birth to many kids", and when disbanding him that he "still wants more seggs". Also during map encounter, slave hunters would see you wih a fishkind, and would assume you're his woman. 🤔

Heh, these two guys are quite hilarious to have around too – they would try to mate with any female NPC encountered in the game. 🫠
(troublesome, but often funny as heck)

I'm probably only one here who doesn't know what "yandere" is. 😁

Is that some new update items? Last time I played LonaRPG was like half a year ago. 🧐

Ha, there were 2 topics recently, discussing these exact questions. 😁

I do love games that remember your prior actions, probably my favorite being Deus Ex (classic, from year 2000).
However, despite game remembering what actions you took many levels prior – it never used those to sabotage your gameplay many days/weeks after.
Probably, only controversial moment in DX was exiting Ton' hotel through window(allegedly not helping Paul survive the ambush), which would end up with your brother dead, lying on a dissection table, instead of standing and talking to you later on the same spot...
But still, even that only made 1 other character die, which still allowed you to continue playing.
(same in Life is Strange, 1 girl jumping from school roof – if you screwed up... but YOU will continue playing)

Btw, another notorious feature, that exactly Deus Ex was known for...
Was giving multiple(!) instruments and paths of solving immediate problems.

Like,  when there's mission – you could get to the destination through sewers, through  street, or through roofs...
When there's keypad code – you can ask around for it's code, buy it through bribing an employee, find it among someone's e-mails, etc...
When you gotta sabotage some industrial machinery – you can turn off it's coolant from a computer, or straight blow the thing up by stackign explosive barrels next to it...

So, like in life – there are always multiple paths and choices to any problem.
And it happens extremely rarely, that death is imminent, and you have absolutely nothing to do about it.
(like being stuck on a death row before execution, or having terminal illness, etc)

And even then it's like obvious, bad things would happen to you.
Not that things are going great! There's absolutely nothing to worry about! ...and then boom you died! 💀
Because some minor thing long ago, that you wouldn't even made second thought about – caused some shadow chain of events, that lead to your insta-kill so inevitable, that even with a time machine you having 0 ways to prevent it. 🧐
That exact thing – is no good, expesially in games.

In life it can very rarely happen, like a piano falling on you walking the street – (because a month ago you had a quarrel with friend, who didn't called you today, making you walk out of your home 5 minutes earlier). But at least IRL you'll be dead, and not worrying. 🤷‍♂️
(and if you had time machine – you'd just hang around at home for 5 more mins, easily!)

While in a game, an inescapable setup even existing – would keep you disturbed every single time you even remember about that game, for the rest of life. 🫢

"Bobo the pig's wife", lmao. 😅

One of the quick leveling mechanics I found – was giving yourself to the goblins at the starting sewers...
Despite gangraping her 2 times a day, and making her give births... Believe it or not, they're FEEDING her and make sure her HEALTH was on an okay level. So you literally can survive with them for infinite amounts of time. 😉
I tried that couple times, starting the game at about level 40. 😂
Only con is, Lona would have completely stretched out orfices, which would take a pretty penny to fix at Elise. 😊

When I played first time, which was back in 2021 or so – I thought that if I worked hard at Big Momma's tavern, I would have enough to sleep at, have food, and would eventually save up 20 gold coins to escape from the island... 😇
I was a completely different person IRL back then, too...
For example, I wasn't allowing anyone to touch Lona, even when preforming dancing job – I was taking away some clothes to tease, and would put them back on not to arouse the crowd too much... And if I overdid it, I made sure to escape to my room, close the door and go to sleep – so bad guys didn't touched my Lona. 😇
Well, different times I guess... Different eras. 🧐
As you may figured out, it's not easy to progress in the game that way. It's exactly like IRL, being stuck at an exploitative job.
Where you would work for 40 years, and then would be kicked out without 0 regrets, ending up on the street as poor as you've been at 20 y.o. only starting. 😉
So, little by little, I tried to make more coins, here and there. In any possible ways.
First, bending more to the audience during dances, getting carried out...
Which a few tims resulted in Lona actually getting caught and raped. 😘 That's how I first lost virginity in that game.
And that's where things went downhill for me in that game. I was re-installing it every half a year or so, finding and tryng new things.
Lona tried to make money as a dancer who gave her all and then also took the rape with 0 prob, Lona worked as a prostitute in different districts, worked as a beggar, as a burglar, as a thief, as a pickpocket, as a con artist...
Heck, things went so far, at some point I was going to goblin tower(one under church), collecting meat of dead people, smoking it, and selling it in huge quantities to the bank, which actually gave me first good money. Like 1.5 gold coins per 30 minutes. 😉
I also tried to be a "priestess" at the church(who knows, would know 👀), tried to do quests in the guild, tried making money at the arena, tried travelling across map, once even  ended up on some sex island filled with pink flowers, which I collected by 100s and then sold for a pretty penny. 😉
Damn, I've even pimped Cocona, who was a girl with a mind of a 5 y.o. and who trusted me 100%. 🥲
So yeah, dude – the sole idea of the game, is finding ways to make money, where it is incredibly hard making even a few coins – to escape from that hell hole. Eventually the ticket price would get to 30 gold coins(inflation), and you have to be able to get there, one way or another...
And like 99% of things you could make in the game, is a waste of time. You can trust me on that. 😉
But still it was good fun going through it all. 😊
The game actually even taught me many lessons IRL. Both in business, and life in general. It even has philosophic value to it. 🤌
(like burning 3 abomination nests, and absolutely 0 souls not giving 2 shits of a fuck – like not even letting me, half dying, starving, and covered in filth into some town, because I didn't had a stupid ID, lmao that was golden 🏆)

AlexMaxback, the game is deliberately riddled with bad mechanics and bad options, to make it similar to real life in crisis – where the most things you can do, the most places you can go to, jobs you can take, the most people you may associate with or help...
Would be either a waste of time, or would repay you with harm and danger. 😉 It's all BY DESIGN. 😈

If you were some homeless refugee girl trying to survive on your own – of course, most jobs would be exploitation, many groups would try to capture you into labor or sex slavery, most sources of money or food would be scarce and dangerous, organizations would be corrupt, people would be not caring and untrustworthy, there would be no places to sleep, maintain hygiene, etc, etc. Instead, there would be constant hunger, depression, and close calls of getting harmed.

What I can recommend you, as a 1'st time player – use game theory.
Make lists of mechanics you can earn coins with, mechanics you can get food with, places you can sleep at, etc...
All are slightly better or worse(use timer IRL to compare their efficiency).
And once you discover the better ones(I don't wanna spoil them) – life would get better, little by little.
You'll finally get a breathing space, and ability to explore. ☺️

Remember, that LonaRPG is a special game,  and there's only 1 time you can play it the first time. 🥰

Not everyone likes big boobs anyways. 😉

Lmao, the curse of ending #14 strikes yet again. 😅

(1 edit)

I like your thinking – just trying to learn about that world first. 😁
Obviously, whoever's in control there — their regime's heavily reliant on 20'th stratagem, a.k.a. "fishing in muddy waters".
Hence why newsfeeds make 0 sense(they're waging psywarfare on own citizens), there's anomie(laws are obscure, loose, and arbitrarily work or don't work – despite mass surveillance), people are deliberately impoverished and separated from economy through waves of galloping inflation and zeal of maximum automation – yet there's free bread dispensers to then put plebs on tight leash, and of course this food supply is startegically cut whenever there's any rioting 👍. Social structure is atomized to the limit, where families were succesfully broken down, first being replaced with AI GF bots, and then even that was taken away, being replaced by pr0n. All people live alone, not even knowing who's the next door neighbor, hating and being afraid of each other – so divide and rule at it's finest 👍.
Yeah, that's kinda the world – that simply begs for studying, to even know where you really are and what further options are available. 🤔
So, that's already spending big money on politics then! 😉
And like, organizing own intelligence agency – with which Shanice could be of tremendous help.
Btw, church could've been restored and financed, plebs lured in by giving away extra food, etc... And then used literally like in medieval times – gathering intelligence through confessions, steering the plebs by bullshiting them with religious sermons, etc. 🤔 And then starting local orders, a-la jesuits – to pry around, carry out operations, etc. 😂
Oh well.
The game's universe indeed has potential, but we should not forget that it's just a small indie project, and also a NSFW game 1'st – not even visual novel.
So, I wouldn't expect much, and definitely in short time.
Was just an interesting piece, to have fun with in our real world – which is getting closer and closer to dystopia as well.

Huh, looks like I figured where was the problem with your run.
"Staring at the charts for hours straight" – this mainly. 🧐
How it can be done instead – talk to Jun 2-3 times every day, and she would tell herself there are "anomalies on the stock maket" – only then it's worth checking "stonks.ic", where usually one of the coins is getting either extremely low, or extremely high.
Then also, it's not worth staring right at it 👀, but just re-checking every now and then.
I usually went out for walk, slept for 1-4 hours, or had fun with Jun. 😉
Then re-checked the charts... Sometimes also saving the game if luck was particularly(!) good.
Btw, the chart dynamic is random every time, so it was also possible to re-load as many times as you want, keeping the chart going up and up. 😋
(this is also practically cheating/exploiting, but you don't necessary need to do it – to still have tremendous success with "stonks.ic").
Generally, this approach worked really smooth and casual, and didn't felt like grind, at all.

Heh, on that "buying something actually exciting" – we touched that question on a neighboring topic:
https://itch.io/t/5740024/rich-lifestyle-for-those-who-have-over-10m
I would love to see more ingame options of course...
But, from IRL experience – I know there's nothing really to spend big money on... Even when you have those.
Basically, what you can do when there's far more than enough for own needs...
*Is either starting an organization(any kind, from business to charity), and then paying other people so they could have enough... Which is not without personal risks, and is generally a game for a specific taste(being executive and all – some get high from it).
*Or, the ultimate thing is – going into politics... Which has 1000X more personal risk, because now you're tryin to step on other people with big money, big organizations, big connections, big influence, and FAR bigger experience. Which would likely end with your 💀.
This is where big money are spent, while stereotype of "beautiful life" is prety much a lie – someone invented it to bullshit poor normies. 🧐

Dude, I wonder what you'd do to yourself if you were a LonaRPG fan. 😅

Got weird feeling, about a week after finishing the game this way.
Author just confirmed there would be new version soon... Which should be a good thing! ♥

But, last experience being, that robo-GF just snaped, and ran away at the peak of relationship...
(yeah, "allegedly kidnapped", but that's not how it 100% looked like while playing the game)

So, now Jun has a feeling behind her character – of an ex, that already ran away once. :)

And finding her in a DITCH, AGAIN, with missing body parts and all memories erased – would too feel weird, like stumbling on your runaway ex somewhere in an alley, unconscious and in a puddle of piss and puke. Me saying tck, tck, tck... ( '-_-)
Especially, when(after re-starting new game) – I somehow lost millions of $ and all friends, and now gotta start all over gain.
Definitely a *Marge' hmmm!* moment.

So yeah, before I was like (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ towards Jun.
And now there's that ( #-_-) feeling.

Yeah, I've played my first time about a week ago, the game's pretty cool and I've enjoyed it.
Only, instead of forever life – got ending #14, for which there's been a separate recent topic. 😁
I hope gamedevs add more stuff the next time I'm back, will probably play again in half a year or so. 😇

Real rich people actually got this very same problem – they saved up an immense amount of candy wrappers...
But they still walk the same streets, and operate in the same economy as everyone else...
They describe being rich, as "sitting on a huge pile of cash", while what they can buy is practically the very same set of products, as the normies have access to.
Yes, there exist so called "luxury brands", but they always provide very marginally improved quality of products/services, while charging insane markups like 10X, 100X, 1000X, etc. over what an analog costs normally – all pretty much being scams. Like, an ultraexpensive restaurant food is not much better to good homecooked food, and $1,000,000 Lambo is not much better transport to a good car costing $20,000...
Hence, why IRL most rich just ignore luxury stuff – seeing through it, as if some gypsie con artists are trying to milk them. 🧐

The ingame luxury food store does exactly that – selling like simple cheap foods as rice, tomatoes, meats, etc...
Just with immense markups + snatching 1 million $ off your pocket for just walking in. 😅

200 IQ reply here., bravo.

I love the AI-free version of you more. ♥

(1 edit)

Making money should not be easy.
The ingame Stonks.ic already is OP through the roof, where on my run – I was able to make out of $3000 – $33,000,000 in just a few days of "anomalies on the stock maket". 😁
Adding any ways of simplifying the stocks trade even further – would be even closer to just using the money cheat. Like why bother anyway. 😉

Honestly, it is so OP – it already makes all other ways of making cash irrelevant...
Like honest work, streaming, or fishing for example.
Only later I've found there were even ways to make money testing medicine, etc...
But it was already too late, I've already became millionaire and chasing more money stopped making sense.

Huh, I thought you were somehow involved with the project – literally replying eveyone across the community. :D

Well, anyway – it was my duty, as a responsible citizen of the internet, to leave concerns regarding something I cared of, that it might get better.
If author of the game sees it, and takes into account – I'll be happy. (  ^^)
If not – oh well. In any case, me job here is done.  :>

Also, happy new year everyone, wooooo!!! \(  ^^)/

Music is pretty good in the game, btw. Congrats on that. ☺️
I'll probably even sneak a few songs on my MP3 player.

Don't even think of it.
Jun would smear you like a pate over the room's walls. 🥲💀

Wow, was that a ChatGPT response? '(  -_-)

On the camera thing – well, nyeah...
So kinda makes'ish sense'ish... But still.

Life is Strange was mentioned, but it still didn't had anything so untied and cheap like "You didn't watered flower days earlier!" -> "YOU DIE!!!". (  x_x)

*Shanice could've told Priestcan everything meanwhile and apologized for asking me not telling;
*Anon could've told Priestcan and apologized for not telling at any time; (being able to salvage the run at any moment)
*Priestcan could've went with us on the origin misssion anyway(because he's such a good company guy!);
*There could've been NO camera; (otherwise there could be cameras everywhere, why not)
*If there was camera, Jun had such a good quality modules and covering clothes, even horny police pig bumping right into her couldn't recognize it's a fembot;
*Jun could've found camera, being WAY more advanced than the Priestbot bot series;
*Anon is literally streaming himself with Jun almost every day, so he was on camera ALWAYS;
*Landlord likely has cameras everywhere too, being such a jerk... Maybe even hidden one in Anon's apartment! (TU-DU-DU-DUUUUN!)
*Why is game's self-destruct sequence forces us to go on walk, alone, and for a long one? What if I went with Jun and we found apartment trashed? Running away?

*Maybe there could've been a separate quest, Anon and Jun being unable to return home for a while, roaming street for a week, until danger was gone'ish?
*Why didn't Jun's GPS module transmitted her location, with the original owners just returning at  random time?
*Why didn't govt. tracked Anon's IP and "FBI opened up" him at 3 AM?
*Why alleged BDH kidnappers(if it was them) don't come completely at random, but ony during origin mission?
*Why wouldn't Jun heroically break away from kidnappers, and return a week afterwards, saying she burned their base and buried them all, oops. :>

I mean, I could go on an on.
1. Any dead end/gameover should be either preventable(maybe in a hard/expensive way, but still);
2. Or it should be obvious from a mile, that doing something-something is not a good idea – like Anon knowing(!!!) throwing away bot parts is very risky;
3. And in case of ending #14 – even full fledged save system doesn't help, because the Priestbot part was literally an IRL week away. I've had like 10 saves, and still none of them were going far enough.

So, these are my points... IMO, some(any!) way should be added to make that week-long fuse time bomb diffusable.
Maybe in next versions, etc... It would just be good writing, and would prevent countless players flippng their tables. (  ╯o_o)╯︵ ┻━┻

In any case, doing some more research – looks like I've actually got near the end of story anyway.
What do you think, is it worth replaying the game?
I've definitely missed BigDaddyHurt's plot branch(didn't know it even existed);
Missed some green clothed fembot at the grocery store;
And also refused to get involved with Revolution(I've been in 2 revolutions IRL already, those suck);

So, what do you think, or is it worth waiting through a few versions?
Looks like some new one just came out.

(1 edit)

Marriage – is literally going and telling police that you're being with this broad... And that if you're wanted for any reason, her realitives' houses should be checked too in case they're helping you hiding. Also, that same broad can leave you any moment, and you'll have to pay her money for decades, because.
I mean, why in heck would anyone want to legally marry, ever?
In Soviet Union free apartment flats were given to married couples, and the more they have kids – the bigger apartment you're given... But this doesn't work under capitalism. 😁
Dunno, marriage literaly doesn't make sense, not IRL, not in the game.

But generally, having any good endings sounds okay too. Those should be distant though, and ideally allowing you to just live afterwards. Just knowing there's no more plot after some point.

(1 edit)

Greetings, gentlemen!

First of all, let me congratulate you, and express that I've actually enjoyed the game!
Jun is absolute sweetheart! ♥
World is almost as bad as what we got today IRL! ♥
And writing is semi-decent. (  ^^)!

Played it for about 2 weeks, and finally started getting good with all the mechanics.
Even made 33 million $, at which I was almost as excied, as if it happened in real life. ;)

Problem is, while being really happy with how the run was progressing...
Expecting the game to continue with many stories ahead(being used to endless visual novels, etc)...
Completely out of a blue, all of a sudden – the robot RUNS AWAY, juts like that! (  o  _O)
And it's a game over ending too. (  x_x) So, what in the actual heck?!

I've tried playing around with older saves, which didn't helped at all.
Then I started googling for some walkthroughs, wikis, forums, etc...
And with quite some effort found a list of bad endings on some completely random 3'rd party website.
(should've been in the game files, like come on – games used to have manuals!)
But anyways, so turned out, about a week ago(IRL) I clicked some wrong dialogue option whem talking to Priestcan, while randomly bumping at him during a street walk... And that was the reason why many-many days after(IRL) the game just decided to DIE!

I mean, this makes no logical sense, Shanice asked not to mention some inconsequential tech. mumbo-jumbo to the robo-priest, and I didn't tell – this was a nuisance really. And how does it suddenly make completely different robot, just SNAP and run away way later?!
There's no way to fix this too, so it's literally a time bomb, and self-destruct mechanism for the whole run...
And honestly, a piece pf terrible plot writing.
Yeah, there's also BDH part that I didn't even know existed, getting which is extremely cryptic...
And without it game would ALSO kill itself... WHYYY!? Oh. come on!

Of course, I thought maybe restarting the game from 0, and then carefully doing everything to avoid the plot's self-sabotage, but probably would wait for half a year or so for a newer version. (not to repeat through everything for the 2'nd time)

Anyway, so my points:
1. In any game, there absolutely should not be any plot run time bombs. If there's a problem – there should  always be ways to fix it. Maybe hard and expensive ways, but not just making player to delete ALL saves, and start from 0 after weeks of playing.
2. There should not be any hidden mandatory plot branches, which player gets 0 hints on how to get to(and especially if missing such a branch activates game's long self-destruct sequence!);
3. Ideally any game should play organic, where progression is obtained through in-game exploration and experimentation, not by googling obscure websites online. Like having some system of in-game tips, some manual(like a .pdf), etc;

But, besides all of the above, I still wanna say that game was REALLY good, and it deserves to be polished, expanded, and eventually finished.
I mean, infinite number if side-stories can be added, events, dialogues, etc... It could get big! And I'd be happy to see it so. ♥

With my best regards.  (  ^^)/

I know it's actually realistic, that not all quests in real life end well, or even make sense in the end...
World can get infinitely weird, so as people and whole societies...

I'm just curious, what's with some missions in LRPG – like in the village where peasants are raping a monkey, some sect chick asks you to save it, and in the end the monkey just murders the sect chick. 🤪
Or, the mission with the fish dude being murdered by Justice in a temple? 🫠

Or, the one where you're looking for a doctor for the mountain subsidiary of the Saint sect... All doctors end up KIA by the orcoids, and there's no doctors for both the mountain and main Saint churches. And even if you're a doctor – you can't even propose your services. 🥲

Before I had a similar impression about the "Dear John" letter quest, but at least there was an option to lie if you're smart enough - in some way salvaging a dead end situation, at least yourself not getting hurt.

Still, many quests can't be salvaged, no matter what you'll try - they just end as if I messed up.

I wanna know the story behind these. 😇

There is a way to... In a way, go around and rape woman.

Go to Fishtopia and rent a "young wizard" companion in the tavern.

Then, travel back to Noer island and voila – your companion won't turn down a single opportunity of humping any females on the way. 😘

It's funny how they start screaming before finally getting fucked to their deaths. 🤪

I'm an honest person – I admit, I stole the game. 🤡

(you could say, in a way I live in the LRPG world myself - only there's way less seks... So, can't spare any $, I need these to survive)

However, should mention the LRPG was something... That really made an impression on me.

This game changed me.  I'll probably be influenced by it in years, if not decades to come.

I think it's worth it's money 100% - it's a total worldview and values changing experience.
