The minigames are indeed pretty meh so far.
I think they came as a continuation of the initial minigame of clicking at the right moment – like during work, or sometimes during cutscenes, a-la "player spent at least some effort".  It was a nuisance, but okay – at least it was straightforward. 🫠

The fishing minigame took me some time to figure out, and even then it's annoying.
Basically, you always gotta have bait, then click when bar is at highest, then click when float twitched, and then click/hold mouse so bar would match the location of randomly moving fish. 🐟 (and it's HARD, especially on the last step!)
Ehem, I've never fished IRL, but after a minigame like that – not excited to go try that IRL even 1 bit. 😅
(I mean who fishes anyway, it's some refined BS for old people)

The cooking minigame was...
Well, I passed some of the recipes, thinking playing it was improving relations  with the bot...
But after reading it didn't affect anything  – that minigame pretty much died for me.
The cooked food was also pretty useless, so both the process and the product...
