whooops sorry, totally missed you comment. This is not a ZX Spectrum game technically, just inspired by it. Thank you for reaching out, but I don't have the game in .TAP format, not sure how to convert it and probably missed the deadline anyway :)

Yeah, I think breathing could've been better explained, but we didn't have the time. Basically you need to hold it while the meter is filling (breathe in), then release when it starts dropping (breathe out). Then wait a bit to regain breath and hold again. Almost like real life!
