One of the most exciting things I saw in the upcoming GB Studio release was the feature to name each individual flag within the editor! Potentially less referencing of excel sheets for variables coming soon!

Hey! I'm curious if you have an official release date for the digital version yet. I'm excited to play through and review it for my site, GB Grotto!

Hey, I was wondering if the rom you have for sale on itch here will include these new features as well.

I really think you have a strong and interesting base here. Looking forward to see what you end up with!

Thanks a lot! I really appreciate you playing and I'll let you know if we end up pursuing this further!

Haha thanks! Good luck in the jam!

Simple and has great color and art. I really enjoyed this little game!

Really liked playing through this one! Great mechanics and just really well thought out.

A lot of fun! I like the art a lot and the mechanics are great too.

Thanks for playing! Love to see it on original hardware too.

A lot of fun and great level design! I don't think the game fits the theme too well though.

Pretty fun! The jump seems kind of inconsistent and at least on the web version there is some slow down. I ended up getting a frozen white screen after dying on 4-4. Really like the art and theme too.

Thanks a lot for playing!

I tried to send an email but it doesn't look like it worked. You can reach me on discord too, [Tyler]#3330

Unbelievably surprising. Thanks for putting this thing together!

I defeated the Thrasher but the main character died during the fight so after the cutscene and running into another monster I started the battle with 0 hp and instantly got a game over.

Thanks for playing! At least in the newest version of GB Studio there are a lot less restrictions on animation frames and because I don't have a lot of actors anyways, I used up a lot of the total frames allowed on my player sprite for the idle animations.

Thanks for the feedback and thanks a lot for playing! I know about the graphics glitch with the timer and after some research post-jam it seems it may happen when there are too many actors on the same line but I wasn't able to fix it before the jam was done.

Also, funnily enough if you fail to get home before the timer runs out you get a retry button but I honestly didn't think about giving that option after a successful run.  I'll probably change those things once the voting is over so I appreciate the help!

Thanks a lot I appreciate it! I thought your game was great and loved the theme.

Awesome I look forward to any updates if you do release some!

Thanks for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed it! Also, that's a great idea that I missed out on. I sort of hint at it at the end when she says she knows she'll get an A+ but if I added something during the questions it would make it more clear.

Glad you liked it! Thanks for posting the video it really is awesome to watch someone play my game.

Thanks for playing! I struggled so much with the music and probably spent over a day trying to learn and make music with a tracker. I ended up with something I'm happy though even if the theme of the music doesn't quite fit. I'm also no artist and I took a lot of inspiration from Pokemon Red's art style for graphics that at least let you identify what you're looking at. This was actually my first game although I've been messing with GB Studio on/off for a little bit.

Thanks for playing! The main theme or premise of the game was that whether you complete all or any of the tasks, it doesn't matter. I know most people would talk to  as many NPCs as possible so the idea was the reward was enjoying the goofy dialogue. If you rushed and try to speed run all the tasks you would miss most of that.

Funnily enough I made it so it doesn't matter what you tell suzy. You're just an older person trying to help her with her homework. She just believes that you'll give her the right answers! Thanks for playing.

Awesome! I'm glad you enjoyed it, thanks for playing.

Fun mechanic and theme with simple gameplay.  I ended up just sort of smashing  the A button to get the plants to grow so I feel like that part could be a bit different.

Fun game, I really like the teleporting mechanic.

The combat is pretty fun and the art is great! The day and night cycle is awesome too. I actually never thought of a shop system like you have and it definitely saves time from creating art for the shop.

I watched your vod of you playing my game and I really appreciate it! I honestly didn't think I'd get to watch someone else play my game and it was a ton of fun. I appreciate you putting this game jam together!

Fun game and seemed to have pretty good level design. I think level 3 was probably the best. I also really like the oversized sprite art.

Got 151 my first try. Good fun and I like the portal mechanic.

My mistake then! Thanks, I love the images in the game.

I don't believe the life system is working.

This was great fun to play.  I'll add some feedback and say that the mushrooms seem let you skip taking damage from the spiky balls.

Awesome game! Super challenging but very addicting. Fitting art style and music too. The path tracking was cool to see at the end of each level and I was surprised to see the death counter at the end too.
