This is awesome! I love puzzle games, this one was worth checking out, it uses the simple swap system, but it has a level design so well that it becomes unique, it has great art, and music that goes well together.
I only had simple bugs, involving the collisions of the two characters, I believe it's complicated to solve, but it didn't get in the way too much.
Another problem was the positioning of the characters (during the swap), I believe it is because it is programmed to store the position of the actors through "tile", I believe that changing it to "px" will solve it.
Don't forget to set the actor's position to "px" too, otherwise the problem will repeat itself.
This is such a cute and fun game! The puzzles are of the right level of difficulty for me and I don't have to bang my head against the wall to solve it and the controls are easy to learn. The music and graphics all help to enhance the enjoyment!
Great mechanlcs, enemies turning friends and using each other skills. Look and feels like a classic GB color Game. Cool entry
This game truely does feel like it could be a puzzle platformer from the Game Boy era. I love the fact that a dragon and a rabbit collect slices of watermelon in a castle. Because why wouldn't they! To me this game is the distilled essence of gaming: Focus on fun gameplay. Who cares about a reason for the floating watermelon? Those were 20 (?) levels of pure fun (and the right amount of frustration every now and then :D)
Great game! The intro art style gave me NES vibes! It's impressive how the mechanics are so polished, I swapped between the characters really fast to get into higher places and it never bugged, really consistent! It felt like if I had the ability and fast reaction I could do anything
Fun and very polished game! That being said, I found I could solve almost every puzzle with almost the same solution. There were only one or two levels where I actually had to think about the unique elements in the level. I've played games with the same mechanic before and they had to introduce more additional mechanics to make it interesting. Maybe something to consider after the game jam?
Great concept. I enjoyed the fact that you can use the second player as a platform... I did not get all the fruit :(
Great game, i really loved this!
C'est juste impressionnant bravo !
The mechanics are really tight and the way the levels are paced together to teach you and introduce new ideas is fantastic. Beat the game, had a lovely time and while I took a break from the computer I was humming the music to myself. Congratz. Loved it.
Heyyy, nice music! XD
It reminds me pleasantly of the Chip N' Dale Rescue Rangers game for the NES, which had 2-player co-op and the option to use each other as steps or weapons. Say, a 2-payer version of this would be incredible! (I'm also thinking of Bubble Bobble.)
I hoped the friendship would last. But I did start to notice that the dragon was being left behind all the time! You and your sassy twist endings! ;) What am I saying, I made a game about Noah's Ark where Noah dies in some versions of the story!
Really fantastic job. The game is fun, the puzzles are tricky, the graphics are great. Well done! Bien joué!
Man, incredible game!
This was lots of fun! I always enjoy the puzzles you come up with!
How do you always do this?! You must eat sleep and dream in puzzles! Excellent work, I really enjoyed playing this so much! I wish it could be played on my gameboy pocket, but I understand with the mechanic it might not read well without color ^_^
Fun lil puzzle. I'm impressed by the number of levels you managed to make. Had great time playing it!
I am so, so, so impressed with this game.
my favorite so far, love the ending! haha hoping for a full version
Already one of my personal Game Jam favorites! Great concept.
The only issue was that the placement of the player (after switching) got a little bit wonky sometimes.
Great puzzle platformer with cool switching mechanic. I liked everything about it: the music, the art style, the progressive challenges and brain teasers. Very well done!
Nice coop game! It doesn't start with friendly beginning but they are work together in the game so that should do.
Awesome! Love the mechanics and the traditional GB vibe. Well thought out puzzles too
