Thank you! My partner did the art and appreciates the praise!
I do feel that the flavor really shines with the mechanics well!
I like the vibes a lot!
Interference mentions pulse tokens, should that be tremor tokens?
The draw step mentions Psychosis, which I cannot find a reference too?
My main worry with the faction, is it will likely get unearthed multiple times a game, leading to difficulties closing out games. Its card draw is also entirely reliant on enemy faction placement, leading to a dearth some games with intelligent enemies. Granted, I am generally bad at disruption/secrecy factions (corvids are my least favorite faction) so that may be partially me.
Really cool faction!
I really like the moon phase mechanic and the lone wolf mechanic.
You should state whether recruit rounds up or down for territory size.
Also, there are a lot of points to spend a lot of cards for a faction that only draws 2-3 cards a turn. (redeem, stray, recruit, shift, migrate.) This isn't a bad thing, just something to be aware of.
Thank you!
Yeah, that scapegoat loop is certainly possible. The main out would be if the Blaaaming Flock decides they need to start policing someone else and so shifts blame to a different faction. The Flock should be a slow scoring faction, so they need to keep everyone down in order to win, not just get easy points from someone being continuously wiped. In the end, being the Scapegoat is very punishing and will need a good amount of playtesting so it feels right and is balanced.
Thanks!
It should be mostly fine with insurgents, as it also gains bonus points for removing tokens or any other kind of piece (So WA should be good). The Vagabond is an issue and I don't really know how I would adjust it to work with them. I guess I could say piece or damaged item, but that feels clunky.
It definitely will need playtesting to ensure it is balanced.
