Great incorporation of the theme. The pacing for the introduction of new mechanics is great too, and your game on the whole is perfectly jam-sized. Very speed-runnable :)

Thanks for playing and this feedback. The wacky superpower is the game's third "throw mode", which you can switch into with a second right click after picking up an item.
I'll make this a little more apparent in my post-jam release.

I have no idea what he's speaking btw 🙃 It's a stock sound effect, the same one I used for the Spouse but with a lil' pitch scale!

Love the feel of this one. Very nice job on the character and shader fx!

I love the aesthetic you've got here!! And neat puzzle mechanic that would have kept me playing through to the end, were it not for my framerate tanking on the 2nd and 3rd levels. (I see you already have a new version though!)

High five on completing your first solo jam and doing a speedrunning game with photorealistic elements, btw :)

Great puzzle mechanic! And physics, I managed to get a really good spin while holding a cube that lasted for a good few seconds, very satisfying!!

I couldn't really puzzle out the gameplay, but your game has a really solid style and nice use of color!

Fun little game, I love a dedicated Meow button :')
Perfect length for a jam game too!!!!

I can absolutely tell you put a lot of work into your characters and fleshing out the world, I was really getting into it. I enjoyed the artstyle as well, not to mention "nuns with guns" is an unbeatable trope :)

Personally, I'm not huge on turn-based RPGs, even real-time ones (I made a speedrunner FPS for heck's sake), so take the following with a grain of salt! I messed around with the dummy a bit and gave the Hellioness my best college try, but the system just didn't hit me hard enough in the hummingbird attention span to compel me to learn how to use it. I feel like an info screen to read up on all the characters' abilities outside of combat, or even a pause ability during combat, would have compelled me to try a bit longer.

;))))))))))))

Thanks for playing, and also letting me know the tutorial skip wasn't as obvious as I hoped it would be!!

Only way to make a game is to make a game :)
