even the devil thinks pineapple pizza is too much of a sin lmao

haha thanks for enjoying! you can join my discord if you wish to contact me in private.

I rate this legendary game 10/10 morbillion.

Hmm, so there isn't any time limit for refunds. A week or two time cap would be reasonable though(and no reason for itch.io not to implement this policy, it would be good for devs and the platform). Only 3% of customers refunded my games anyway, so its not that big of an issue. For future projects, I'll just stick with PWYW on itch.io and release paid ones on Steam.

Normally I encourage my customers to get a refund if they don't like the game, but I have a few questions:

is there a maximum amount of time where after the time customers can't refund? I know there isn't DRM so we can't know how many hours the player has played the game, but isn't there supposed something like a 7-day period where customers can't refund after this time.

I'm writing this because I've just noticed someone refunded my game after a month, which seems suspicious. They had the game for a month and then refunded it essentially getting the game for free. (I can't reveal their details as it would violate the privacy policy). How is itch.io protecting developers from such cases of refund fraud?

Also, there are some people who downloads the game 10+ times after buying and that doesn't make sense unless they are account sharing. I would be happy if a moderator could address my questions...

Best wishes.

TL;DR:

  1.  Is there a time limit where you can't refund after a set time?
  2.  How is refund fraud handled?
  3.  How is account sharing and multiple (mass) downloads of paid games handled?

Edit: English isn't my first language so I'm sorry for any mistakes I've made.

Sorry to hear that... You can get a refund by writing an e-mail to support@itch.io

When I can afford a vr headset myself or someone donates one to me

My idea is that we should be able to spend the money we make on itch on other games without having to withdraw it. This is already implemented in Roblox where developers earn robux, which they can either cash out or spend on other games. This system saves Roblox a lot of money long-term as small developers who doesn't make substantial money worthy of cashing out simply spend their robux on in-game items etc. I think that this would be very nice feature for small developers who just want to make games and spend their earnings on other games.

This would also eliminate the issue of double taxations due to multi-country transactions and also the issue of commission fees taken by online banking providers.

TL;DR: We should be able to buy games with money earned from selling our own games without having to cash out.

you need to enable windows sharing & discovery to see the server, I found this article which tells how to do it: https://websiteforstudents.com/how-to-enable-network-discovery-and-sharing-in-wi...

if this doesn't work you can always refund by e-mailing support@itch.io

Sorry to hear that. Can I ask why exactly it didn't work? If you followed the instructions and it didn't work, you can contact me on Discord so I can help you with bugs or any issues you ran into: https://discord.gg/e3w9fErYfv tsar#4287

Other than that, you can get a refund by writing an e-mail to support@itch.io

Best wishes...

Thanks for constructive criticism! I will improve the AI in future updates and also plan on adding a few more free features for compensation...

Its made by me

Thanks for the playthrough! Sorry for the frustration haha, the 'wall glitch' will be fixed in the next update.

Thank you for the help, I should have understood  weekends would be the cause, I'm sorry for the inconvenience...

i have uploaded my latest game 2 days ago and its still not showing up in search.

The game is free but has extra content you can download by donating. From what I've read it should only take 24hrs to be on search but its still not showing after 2 days. Is my game lost in a queue or something?

Edit: I already got 200+ downloads from sharing the widget but I need search to reach my full audience.

I'll probably be late as well because my lightmaps are taking too long to bake. I will try to send tomorrow if possible.

Glad you enjoyed it! There will be a sequel game which will most likely be an open world.

Sorry for the inconvenience. Does your PC meet the system requirements? If yes, then I should be able to help if you tell how to replicate the bug or send a screenshot(if there is any error message).

Haha thanks for the playthrough!

Mostly because of Kracc Bacc's memes and also I made this game to practice progamming AI

Thanks for the video!

Thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing our game!

I didn't understand the twist, is it that you have open and close doors to get to new place? Overall nice game although it was a bit too easy to win.

The concept is rather interesting. The king can't be checked so that is a bit of an issue when playing competitively. A few more chess pieces could be added and this would make a great game to play with friends!

Nice concept although the gameplay is a bit bland. Maybe a counter that said if we correctly changed the HUD could be nice. Some sound effects and a bit of polish could have made this game amazing.

First of all, I love the animations I was hooked from seeing the polish on the main menu. The graphics are okay for 3 hours and the gameplay is solid. Outside the box thinking is required for some levels which makes it stand out. Good job!
