you can smell the polish from the game’s page, to the buttons, to the text rendering. this game is super polished. the gameplay is creative. the game is actually scary. I got jumpscared by the fire, and even knowing how the thing’s jumpscare looks like, I still would not like to be captured by it at all. this game have lots of potential to becomes a full game

suggestions:
- I think it is better to have jump be Z and shoot be X, for these console like games you would like to stick to arrows and XZ
- the spinny frog thing is chaos recarnated. probably tune them to be slower
- maybe reduce the amount of bloods when killing enemies. it does seem kind of too much
- maybe make the game boy label in your game cover be “game boy (unity)” or sth? still keeps the game boy cover style but does notify gameboy fans that this is not actually a game boy game
I am not in this jam so I can’t vote, but it would get about 4/5 stars from me. well done

Omg what a perfect execution. The art is amazing, the polish is great, the puzzle is well hidden, physic feel good, and I love the execution of the limitation. And it is made in Tic80!!! This is the best game I have played in MiniJam so far and the first one deserve all 5 stars. Im looking forward for more match boxes in future versions

Something that is annoying is that when the character just touch the void a little bit it send the character back to the checkpoint. Also I can throw fire at a far checkpoint and jump to the void to teleport to that check point. The enemy that shoot projectile and the wind thrower I can just run really fast past them or snipe them from far away. I like the way the light is used and the jamming at the end of the game tho.
