Are the slot machines supposed to only pay out if the first symbol starts the set?  I've gotten 3-4 in a row a few times, but because it didn't start with the left most wheel it didn't give me anything.  Wondering if It's supposed to he that way.  I've never actually played slots before this.  lol

Yep, it's like I guessed.  After you trade him 15 regular ones, he then trades for the gold ones.  I just didn't have 15 regular ones till I got my farm up and running.

Nope, found the game on someone else's favorites list a little over a week ago.  I've only played on the one version.  I just keep separate file folders for saves where I'm trying different things.  NG+ being one of them.

in that case, happy to help!  :D

Also, apologies if the bug reports are getting irritating.  I've beta tested a few games so it feels kind of obligatory.  I will gladly stop if you'd prefer.

Forgot to mention, they were both in the room with the bee torch.  That seems to be relevant somehow.  I reloaded a save a bunch to test failures on other floors, and they initiated combat as normal.  So its either something to do with that floor or there's some other variable involved that just caused it not to happen on the other floors by random chance.

On that particular save?  No to both.  I do have  A NG+ run I'm working on.  But that save is kept in a completely different folder when not in use.  My guesses are either coins and flames got added to the game in a patch but the fox sense "list" didn't get updated, it's erroneously "counting" some other items it's not supposed to, 15 year old laptop spaghetti code, or some other 4th thing.

I've found a number of arias at this point in my playthrough where I've found 4/1 or 13/9 of something.  My only conclusion?  My fox form must have a cold.

In the last tower I had two separate beehives have the failed communication message (despite the 75% success chance, RNG just be hating sometimes lol).  But both times nothing happened, and I just "talked" to them again and got two more for the growing army...

air force?

Edit: thought of a better title after posting

The only one I've been able to find just trades regular acorns.  I'll have to try to get more to trade in case he has different tiers of trade, other than that just keep looking around.

Sorry to be creating so many topics, I just want people to be able to find the info easily if someone else has a similar question, and the feedback thread doesn't have a search function.  That said, the gold acorns appear in the food tab, but as far as I can tell I've got about 50 gold nuggets that don't actually do anything despite "brimming with energy"  I was hoping for another bad end somehow.  lol

yep found it thanks for the tip!

wait, I realized where I got thrown off.  I thought you were implying there were talking about a fox, chicken, and satyr form unlockable in a different game.  (The pictures from the post above also threw me off.)  I'm going to have to go back and find that chicken one.

Wait what?  I'm sorry, I had thought I had made that comment on the adventure of change thread.  this sounds like it's for a different game.  Loos like I need to get going on another one if it was made by you.

Almost positive I had completed the lamia story before.  Unless hitting lvl 30 and fighting the corresponding demon was part of it.  IDK, I had been bouncing between different saves trying to do it with/without the lamia.  I tried to see if I could get to it before I got the salamander form while bad end hunting.  But I don't think that's possible.  Found out what the bad end was after getting the ryu form and just going bac with the salamander form again.  Thanks again for the help, and for making such an awesome game in the first place.

Freaking awesome game!  Got a little lost a couple times.  But my main save has almost 40 hours on it and I can honestly say I enjoyed all of them.  If I had any suggestion it would be for bad end tracker app or something similar so you could know how many you haven't seen and possibly revisit the ones you have.  I really enjoyed the bad ends, particularly the way the dog one was done with the TFs in stages.  But I know I'm missing at least one and I feel like some sort of tracker/guide for it could make a big difference.  Other than that easily one of the best TF themed games I've played!

huh, I had tried that before with the dragon, lamia, and salamander forms and nothing happened...  Not sure why it worked now.  Maybe you have to beat the dragons demon first?  Any way, ability description calls the PC "Nana" instead of the chosen name.  Also, thanks for the assist.  I'd have spent hours trying random stuff before I went back there for a 3rd try.

On an semi-related note, how do you get the bad end there?  I've tried entering there with a few different forms but can't figure out how to get it.

Edit: Had a feeling that was the last gold chest.  I had been using the different hint chests as a sort of check list.  Not opening them (cause I'm stingy) but at least having a counter for undiscovered forms.

could be.  I've tried the mouse approach more then once.  But I'm pretty sure it was always during the day.  I'll go check it now.  Got a demon to go sting!

Yep, that was it.  Demon fluff ball cuddled to death.

oh...  Little embarrassed I didn't think of that.  lol

thanks for the prompt response.  You've got to be one of the best Devs not just in terms of game design but by far in terms of helpfulness to your player base!

I've had the thing kicking around in my inventory for ages now.  I've revisited all of the other TF locations including doing a grid search of the endless desert.  I've unlocked all of the other TFs (even beaten the BBEG twice)  still scratching my head on where this comes into play.  Could I get a hint so that I can at least focus my search in the right aria?

I'm assuming it's down the stairs and getting the barrier removed has something to do with seed trading.  But, as stated in previous topic, I'm unsure as to how to test that/proceeded.  Any help would be appreciated.

I've checked about everywhere I can think of to find an item/ability to fertilize the crops in the forest home.  Could I get a hint as to what I'm missing?

After finding a certain item and praying at a certain location the game uses "Nana" instead of the player chosen name when talking about her opening her eyes.  Obviously this is the most minor of nits to pick.  But figured it should be brought up.  Otherwise, this is a near flawless game.

This also tripped me up pretty bad.  I either hadn't found, or had forgotten the relevant lore bits to be able to answer this without spending 2 hours brute forcing it.  I scoured the aria hoping to find any kind of clue.  But if there was any my dumb ass couldn't find them.  lol

For clarification, I didn't realize there were multiple potions you had to make.  So I made the amber potion, poured it on the flower from behind, queue screaming plant and duplicate boss fight with Fii's evil twin.

spent more time banging my head against a brick wall made of stubborn bees than I intended.  But the plant boss has been vanquished.  Thanks again for the quick response, AND for making such an awesome game!

I was jumping the gun on the amber potion.  I'm doing the potions in the correct order now.  I'll reply again if I encounter the problem again.  Thanks for the quick response.  Also fantastic game so far!

scratch that I figured out what was happening after abandoning the save and fafing around the continent for an hour.

I went through the books, brewed the amber potion, ground a few levels on the wandering mobs.  Then when I go to pour the potion on the flower, it screams, I get a repeat of the boss fight with Fii, then the aria resets like I never brewed a potion.  Anyone else encountered this?  Any ideas how I could progress from here, or do I have to abandon the save?

NP, thanks for taking the time to make the game in the first place!  You definitely have the harder job.  I figure the least I can do is try to provide some helpful feedback.

I very much liking what I'm seeing so far.  The combat mechanics with items and spell components are a fun deviation from your standard "level up, learn spell" RPG progression.  The procedural generation of the floors adds to the sense of exploration.  At first I was worried that the floor progression was going to just be "kill/loot everything, then jump in hole".  But by the 3rd floor there were already additional elements showing up to keep things interesting.  The movement seems a bit buggy but for a demo it's not a deal breaker.  Unfortunately the game froze after beating the nurse and I lost a bunch of progress due to the game's restrictive save limitations, so that's as far as I'm going to take it for now.  Considering you're previous work, and the potential on show here, I'm excited to see where this goes!

Edit: additional bugs found:

the hearty meal does nothing when consumed (at least with eve in the glutton sheath)

the pods that sometimes show up to give you different things after one of four different cut scenes seems to frequently have a higher "threat level" then the number of enemies on the map.

Cool demo, I very much enjoyed what's there so far.  For anyone interested all of the (current) content can be played through in about 15 minutes.  A good number of "bad end" themed tfs and a straight forward plot with some simple fetch quest/puzzle content.  Absolutely worth a play.

Edit: My save file in game time is about 15 min, only after posting this did I consider that there's probably another 5-10 of lost time from bad ends (and one good end).  So probably like 30 min run time.

Some bugs I noticed

1) the "bag event" can be repeated for infinite yellow pens

2) the girl who broke her phone freezes after the tf if you talker to her from the left side.  However the scene plays out normally if you talk to her from the right or below.

3) After defeating the teacher nothing happens and the two of you are stuck there staring at each other.  (Not sure if bug or just content missing from the demo)

I'm very excited to see where this goes.  Definitely going to bookmark this and check for future updates.
