Thank you for your comment. We added an auto boost mechanic for when the ball starts ascending. In the Jam's version you would have been able to boost your way to the top by pressing the boost button over and over. We kept it that way because of the way we used to play car and racing games, where one would apply the nitrous before a jump :D .
Great game and good idea for the theme. There is a couple of things that could be enhanced such as saving the player's input after failing the level and restarting. But the gameplay was splendid, being calm and intriguing at the same time, and the presentation of the game was amazing. A very enjoyable game.
Thank you very much.
The gameplay does get more reliant on intuition the harder and longer the puzzle gets, so the calculation part gets a little excluded from the gameloop itself (imagine calculating all the number for every route you take ,'3). But that will be another thing for me to work on in the future.
Thank you for the Feedback and good luck with the jam.
Thank you for playing. The game indeed have some difficulty to it, for calculating the result of the numbers on the go can become one hell of an experience :D. The gameloop is in need for more interesting and innovative ideas, maybe that will be some work for the future. Overall the game was fun to make and this jam has a lot of good submissions too. Thank you for the Feedback and good luck with the jam.
I liked that the game is unforgiving, but giving more control over the character will grant the player more freedom to apply their skills in a game like this. Also having more variety of enemies will be great and I'm looking forward for that.
And most importantly fusing the character design with "UI" to create a character that shows the amount of ammo the player is holding is one creative approach to be taken.
A very enjoyable and fun game.
Pretty nice prototype. The gameplay could be enhanced more, especially the interaction with the boxes, and the level design, because there is so much space for the player to walk while the puzzles don't need all this space to be solved. Also don't forget about the camera movement.
Levels 4 and 5 were nice, while level 3 was a bit hard because of the enemies, and for level 6 more enemies should have been added to the (no) path, sorry but i had to find what was there :D.
Keep going and have fun making games.
A very enjoyable game. You have created a very cozy and joyful experience in a very short play time, and the presentation was splendid.
Adding little animations to the game will build up on the theme and experience, especially for Kal, and the cards could have a little animations too.
Overall this was a fun game to play, hope it gets more content.
