If you stick to GDScript you have to actually *try* to make it not just work on all platforms :) You could probably do an HTML5 export and it would just work too! :D

Hey! I'm a developer of the Godot engine (I'm on the Project Leadership Committee) and since you're using a completely unmodified version of the engine (3.2.3-stable.official) and this is a 2D game doing a normal Linux/X11 export should just work. In fact this is how I'm playing it now! (A user can also manually replace the .exe with the Linux version locally without needing the sources to the game)
It still might be nice to offer on itch for people who bought it and don't know this is easily possible?
After completing the puzzle for the second time after a restart pressing the 'exit' button seems to hang the game entirely. It's been more than a minute now. Music is still playing and there's a lot of CPU activity but not a lot else.
EDIT: it did eventually exit, but the puzzle didn't work. All of the debris is cleaned off of the board and all chips are in place but I can't seem to be able to remove the microchip.
I have no more information than anyone else here, but reading all of the official responses I think they are currently working on the bug(s) around the nanobot puzzle. It wouldn't make much sense for them to release another beta without that fixed as they wouldn't really get any new bugreports that way anyway.
I would expect a new build once they've worked that one out. Again, this is pure speculation, but it is what I'd do in their shoes. And I make video games for a living :)
Ignoring all the bugs I've encountered so far, the parts of the game I was able to see were a lot of fun. I enjoy that there's a general sense of there being 'more' to the world, and it's been a lot of fun to get to know Ace. The narrator is very funny and the world feels delightfully wacky.
I can't wait for build 3, hopefully I'll be able to get past the rooter repair part then and continue to explore! <3
Ace keeps saying things like "Don't need it", even when you do the right thing. Like taking the space sickness pills he will say "This won't work here" as it is working. It appears that nearly none of the voice lines are correct.
Strings are printed like "Don't be the guy that touched anything" which aren't voiced, I assume this is supposed to be the narrator.

I also got into this situation somehow :)
