ah thank you so much ^^ im glad you picked up on that part of the worldbuilding. the idea of an anarchic or "rhizomatic" structure is written deeply in my heart, so i find the fungi in this story very relatable. i've felt the pressure to be an individual and the trauma of becoming a girl. imagining how the fungi might interact with the web of human data, which incorporates the same structure but isn't really the same, is really interesting to me...

im also happy that you could relate to the story. it's a difficult place to be in ... i wish people had an easier time talking to each other. thank you ..!

thank you !! the story comes from a specific, human place. we didn't think deeply about the philosophical discussion, beyond what is in people's (and the characters's) hearts. people who make individuals and people who were made individuals (or girls), but specifically us (papersephone and i) and the people who have made us. so i would say that i really did live eighth heaven! as did papersephone. she captured it so well... im happy seeing that people have related to the story in so many unique ways. you can really see their outline in the edges of their reviews. hehe and thank you for praising the music :)

thank you :)!!

huhh. jesus.

it was very difficult to read. im not sure what to feel about it, about the characters. why would she do that, and where does this scenario come from -- well, i can somewhat imagine. it's such a violent world. everyone has scary worms in their brain. it'll be on my mind for a while. the story pulled me in deep and the ending hit...

using flowers as sprites is such a cool unique unique decision. i really enjoyed that. it looks beautiful.

the parallel narratives are very well done. i was a little puzzled at first by the choice between he/him and she/her, then surprised  !  aah, so cool. great work. fucked up

ah you are so kind :_) i teared up reading this. it makes me want to write again (though this is all papersephone's writing) and keep making music, for the things that still wait in our hearts. i couldn't ask for a warmer reception, wow

thank you :)) i really wanted to understand nita, because she is similar yet completely opposite to me. im glad that ame wrote her with so much empathy, and you could find yourself in her. i love her dearly

God... I'm so.

You see it coming because it's so real but you really don't. I'm wrecked.

Your writing pulled me in completely. The visuals and audio were so immersive too.

I'm very glad I stumbled upon this work, and grateful that it exists.

oh dear i'll have to read so much more of your work

thank you

The art of her pinned like a butterfly is beautiful... It's really like that. I don't struggle in the same ways so I hope it's not in bad taste for me to relate, but ah, I feel hopeful. It's difficult to see the sun most days. I want to. Thank you for making this. And it looks gorgeous, too

Thank you !! It was such a special experience making this. I hope to make lots more stuff with everyone...

Thank you

Wow. There is so much here. I'll be coming back to this. Everything works together flawlessly. I'm obviously floored by the presentation, the visuals and music. And the writing... I recognise parts of myself in Ys. In Yamos, too. They're written with such empathy that I am able to love them. No one does it like you guys

This is a weird one but I like it, it's cleverly designed and satisfying to figure out. Really cool way to implement the malfunction theme ! It's also pretty funny lol. And I love the deep bassy sounds. It's just so short

Had a LOT of fun playing this. My only problem is with the difficulty scaling. At first the scaling felt awesome, but after having figured out the strategy, it seems that it's pretty much impossible to lose. In fact, once you have a lot of points, you can AFK for a very long time without losing, since it seems that the loss condition is your points reaching zero. I think I would tie loss to the number of customers waiting for you instead, or to your score falling a certain amount below the highest score you got during the run, and I'd maybe introduce an extra lane in the late game and speed up the difficulty scaling from there

Other than this the gameplay loop is super good I love it so much. The ice cream machine's mechanic is perfect

AWWH this game is lovely i love the music and sounds and the customer designs
