Same issue here, Windows 11, AMD Ryzen 9 5900x, Nvidia RTX 3090, and RTX 3090 FE, 64 GB DDR4 3600 MHz ram. EDIT: SETTINGS ARE NOT SAVED, THE GAME RUNS FINE WITHOUT MOFIFYING THEM...
edit 2: it just happens sometimes, with or without changing settings...

The game seems to be using my RTX 3090  (or at least its VRAM) instead of my 4070 Ti Super (set in Windows graphics settings).. Is there a way to switch it? I'm using my 3090 for other stuff, and it is not for gaming.

Still, I'd like to download them to different file locations, especially since my internal storage is filling up lately.

I mostly download zip files and sometimes my file managers can't load them from mitch itself, so I have to navigate to the root folder for zip files.

You could try disabling smooth scaling in joiplay rpg maker setting, 

And  use 2 fingers for in game settings for more settings.

The game uses rpg maker plugin, so install that one with joiplay from Patreon. 

If it works then keep it, but it doesn't I'll send you my files.

Make sure that the files are not corrupted and correctly extracted (this sometimes happens to me, especially with x-plore manager)
