I can understand that. If you don't mind me asking, do you know of any way I can ask the creator for permission beforehand? I haven't been able to find any options on itch.io to message them privately one-on-one. Is it similar to just putting out a community post, or are there other ways I can communicate?

Hi! Sorry if this is an overasked question but I couldn't really find a straight answer. I wanted to start posting youtube videos about some of the games I played but I want to ask first about the general idea on people posting their games on youtube. I've seen some people say that they enjoy seeing someone post about their game and play it while others may say that it feels for someone to post about their game. Also, I wanted to know if there are any general rules I should follow if I do post about a game or if there is anything I should do beforehand before posting about it. Thank you for reading!
