Hello there! 

Due to some health issues (Don't ever eat spoiled olives folks) I had to delay the final update for BBS but it is now out! This update simply focus on some final touches and quality of life improvements, but the game is now complete! 

Please have fun and stay tuned for the next project, coming soon! (?)

MINOR UPDATE:

The UI for the upgrades has been updated, making it more clear what each of them does! How handy!

Further more, the "Offensive Matrix Overclock" now improves projectile speed and the Annhilator ray cooldown as well! 

That's it for this week, now if you will excuse me I belive there is a new Monster Hunter to play :^) Cheers! 

So apparently I have uploaded a flawed version of the build, but now it should be all good! Woops! 

NEW FEATURES ADDED: GAME DYNAMIC DIFFICULTY AND MEGALASER!

Ehy there! BBS has been updated!

DYNAMIC DIFFICULTY:

Enemies will become more powerful as the game goes on, and to top it all off, every now and then a couple bosses will spawn to make your life harder! 

MEGALASER:

Now that the game becomes harder, it seems only fair to give you an extra tool to tip the scale: the MEGALASER! You can now unleash a devastating beam of energy to obliterate everything in front of you, just keep in mind it's cooldown, and use it wisely!

Hello there! I'm theJameskrik and this is my very first devlog about my latest project, BBS, how exciting! 

I'm a former AA developer recently turned fully indiependent, and now I'm sailing towards new adventures!   

BBS is a simple third person shooter inspired by the survivor genre: fight off swarms of enemies, get EXP and level up! 

All these elements are very basics, keep in mind that this project is more of a self imposed challenge rather than a fully fledged game (Making games is very hard, even simple one!) but I'll do my best to deliver a small yet polished experience!

BadBot Survivor, or BBS for short, is out now! 

BBS is a small take on the Survivor genre, using a third person shooter as a base and implementing simple player progression in a """roguelike""" fashion.

This project is a little self challenge I launched on my self while commiting to a Unreal Engine Udemy class, and I'm quite happy with the results! 

The "Roadmap" is quite clear in my mind, but any kind of feedback will be more than welcome! Please enjoy the game!

BBS è una piccola take del genere Survivor, usando come base un third-person shooter e un pizzico di progressione del personaggio.

Questo progetto è una mini sfida personale che mi sono lanciato mentre seguivo un corso di Unreal Engine su Udemy, e sono piuttosto soddisfatto del risultato!

Thought provoking, irreverent, narrative game with light RPG mechanics.
