A super cool and unique entry. The core gameplay is, while a little awkward to learn, very engaging and a totally imaginative way to imagine overcoming a zombie apocalypse by representing the difficulties of survival against continually insurmountable odds.

Hey! I resolved that issue and added some Community Copies while I was at it. Grab one!

Thanks for letting me know there was an issue, I don't check Itch nearly as often as I should.

Hey Chris, thanks for making this!

I was wondering, do you manually update the number of Community Copies with each sale? That seems like it could get tedious.

I agree, I only know of a few cavemen centered games, one of them being just an expansion for GURPS!

Me too! Someone mentioned on Reddit that a good addition to this would be a zine style compendium with additional rules and I gotta say I agree! Adding more village mechanics is at the top of the list for me!

I’m glad you enjoy it! I tried to keep it simple like Tunnel Goons yet bring some interesting ideas to it.

As for the anachronism, you’re completely right and I’m surprised I didn’t notice how out of place that feels! I’ll have to edit that and re-upload the document!

If you have any questions or comments about Stone Age Goons I'd love to hear them!

You're not the boss of me!

The art in here is great, and there aren't enough John Carter inspired RPGs in the world, so it's nice to see it!

Goons is a totally underrated movie, glad it's getting some love in the RPG section haha

Great concept! Can't wait to get home and give it a play!

Awesome art! I love the sheer number of available backgrounds!

Really interesting design! Nice stuff!

Thanks! Glad you liked it!

Don't forget the secret door that impedes your progress from going straight out of the dungeon. If you can find that door and get out, Cull still thinks you've successfully escaped and will rewarded accordingly.
