Because the app is unverified, many devices will try to stop you from opening it. But you can override that by simply running it as an administrator and telling it that yes, you do want to open the app when it asks.

Thank you for your interest and reaching out to us, but we won't be doing any further sequel projects. All future projects will be fully original works by members on the team.

Thanks for understanding!

Correct, the game is only available on mac, PC, and android for this reason.

Are you still having issues getting the game to open? What device are you playing on?

Command click and say open, and it should allow you to verify that you want to open it.

Make sure you download the right version. If you have Mac, get the Mac version, if you have PC, get the PC version. Just open it once it downloads and open the app icon. If it won’t let you open, just open as administrator.

Due to complications surrounding Apple requiring apps to be distributed through the App Store, it isn’t available on Apple devices. I’m sorry!

I’m sorry you’re having this issue. I’ll pass this onto our programmers and see if we can determine what’s causing this!

It Lives Within is the fan-made third installment for the It Lives series, which can be found in the Choices app by Pixelberry. To play the first two games, download the app and play It Lives in the Woods followed by It Lives Beneath! Once you finish, you can come back and restart It Lives Within having played the first couple of books.

It has updated through chapter 16!

to play the most recent chapter, simply redownload the build for your device: Mac for Mac, PC for PC, apk for Android. Once it’s downloaded and unzipped (or in Android’s case, installed), just re-open the app and the updated version will be there :)

Hello! I'm using Ren'Py to make a visual novel, and a lot of people who are interested in the game want to be able to play it online on mobile. For reasons, I need it to be playable online, not just as an app. However, as probably is usual from what I've seen of browser games on Itch, saving is becoming quite the ordeal. If you close your browser or the tab, it erases everything. If the page refreshes (which it'll automatically do if you're away from that tab for 10+ minutes) it'll erase everything. Even if I were able to somehow bypass  the auto refresh, I'd have to require everyone to keep that tab open all the time, and if I add updates the game will get reset anyway. There is an export button to export your save, but that only works on the computer, which is useless since players who play on the computer will likely just download the game.

I've seen people talking about having their players create a third-party cloud login or something, but I have no idea how to get that set up. I'm not opposed to doing that, if it's something that will work. Anyway, that's my question. What's the best option for saving data for online players and how can I do that? Thanks!
