Never. The program relies on specific windows hooks to work and only functions with XInput. Folks have had success with  Wine, but I have no intention of supporting it officially.

Unfortunately the way Game Maker handles file loading on Linux does not support the way we are loading custom levels, so I will not be able to make that work on Linux. Running the Windows version in Wine or Proton should make it work, as that's how the Steam Deck version is working currently.

If you click the gear in the top left, you can cycle through 24 different color sets to find one that works well for you.
