Yo! Glad you enjoyed the game and thanks a bunch for the feedback! I had started on a remake of the game that solves some of the things you mentioned (and I don't even know why the cakes don't work ToT) and whenever I finish said remake, I hope you'll check it out

few things i will mention though:
- I believe the mouse cursor does have a way to make it less fancy, though there is not technically a way to turn it "off
- The diagonal movement being faster is actually an intentional choice, I just though it was kinda fun, and it made a decent way to avoid enemies that were your same speed (like the cake slices when they work)
- you can also hold space to shoot :]
- Speed is going to be based on your weapon in the remake (or Rebake as I'm calling it), so you'll be faster / slower depending on what you're using. Also, guns have much more feedback now :]

this is not related to the jam, or even a game yet, unfortunately.

A lovely satisfying game to play, deceptively simple.
also I basically win, right?

sometimes its hard to find all the little bugs, they like to hide away sneakily >:] the glowy guys in the cave are also bugs, and the vines are plants.

also yeah the "endings" really only show on the title menu, though the content is different for each

i think some computers don't allow certain key combinations, for whatever reason

sorry it caused problems, but i can't really plan for / fix that :[

I'm glad! Just recently updated it, so if you wanna try that out go ahead :] tried to fix some of the lag, as well as make the Ui a bit nicer. I also made jumps and springs more consistent, as that was a pretty big issue before. Hope you enjoy again someday!

This game is absolutely hilarious. I got stuck on the burning town unfortunately, I assume that the mother was supposed to open the gate once I got her child, but nothing happened. I could be missing something tho.

super fun! I played against myself and still had a good time, though we bacame too powerful...

I'm not sure exactly what the end goal is, but I had fun none the less! The cannon that is always one above what you have is quite funny :

Hurrah! Good to get Flowlab out there to more people, it's a really good game engine and I hope this gets more people to realise its greatness :]
