I think it is an interesting idea, although my main gripe when planning any route is how to end it and how to add enough content for it to not feel completely barren. You may notice that I’m not very good at either of these.

If you downloaded the game from e.g. the itch launcher, you should probably re-download it. If you’re playing online, try refreshing the page without cache (usually ctrl+shift+r).

You need 20 “Obedient Drones”, 20,000 money, and having 0 favours owed to the company to be able to do it. The requirement should show up if you hover your mouse over the “Establish” button. To make sure you owe 0 favours, you need to go to work and keep working until it reaches 0.

That put me into the “bound scenario” page which was the one that I fixed. It should actually be fine now. Your save loads OK for me on the current version. If it does indeed work now for you and also, if you do not mind, you should edit the comment with the save file’s text so it does not include the save data anymore, since it’s long and contains spoilers.

It seems to be exporting OK for me. If you could please try exporting again, check the browser console for any errors, and send the file somehow, that would help a lot.

There is a “> Current Abbreviation” button. The arrow on it means it can be expanded and it will show you the correct answer.

Please share your save file, this shouldn’t happen.. I fixed a bug in the Bound Scenario, but that’s a different scenario that should not be connected.

I’m hoping to keep coming back to this game once in a while when I get enough ideas and motivation to add something interesting to it. Even if this time it took a year.

There was indeed an issue. Your save file helped find it, thank you. You should probably edit the comment to remove it from here now, since it’s very long and contains spoilers for the variables the game uses.

You have to be close to the maximum XP at the level and wear things it says on the option specifically while doing it. If this is not working, please do share your save file and I will investigate it.

This is an HTML game that was developed on linux, it should work fine. It’s probably a browser extension that blocks loading additional scripts, the game loads its different modes on demand. If it’s not that, please send the errors you see in the browser console.

Well, I’m not opposed to it, but right now I have no idea how to write such a path. It seems to fit a lot better into the idle game path, but I also wouldn’t mind to somehow make a similar one for the RPG mode, especially if someone is willing to write it for me to implement. Currently I’m already writing another, different path for the RPG mode.

Not currently. A new update that is hopefully going to be finished someday will introduce another path that’s more of a freelance one, but it will probably not be accessible at the same time as the current office path.
