Couldn't understand how to automate things properly so I was constantly moving conveyor belts around with items on them to complete the goal.

Great vibes, however there is too much clicking in the game, the autoclick was pretty meh. The metagame starts too late and the bonuses it provides don't speed the game up that much (I picked up chain reaction and +5 click speed), this makes it not worth replaying from the start. Upgrading the field isn't worth it either because even with full tree upgraded I still can't pick up all the vegetables anyway :(
For me the issue with descriptions is that when you are looking for what an upgrade does, the description gets in the way, it's not that the "flavor" descriptions are redundant but I just wish they have been implemented in a different way that doesn't intrude with me trying to learn the game. Btw, I enabled text outlines and it's much better to tell stuff apart now, though why wouldn't the locked upgrades start appearing as you well... unlock them
I really wanted to play that game but the UI was horrible... I couldn't understand what each upgrade does because of: 1. long descriptions that don't provide much value to me as a player 2. Lack of visual elements, most stuff i've seen is text based only, some sort of icons or other cues would have helped tremendously. 3. Locked upgrades visually mix in with the unlocked ones
It's polished and satisfying, however there are some frustrating parts that really drag it down. The biggest one for me is how fights can go on forever without any progress on either side. At first, I just threw all the caps I had without thinking much, wondering why that wouldn’t be the best move - and somehow, I won the first two matches doing exactly that (taking a really long time). After a bit, I found out the enemy can flip your face-up caps, which was cool, now I started throwing caps in batches. Then it occurred to me that I had no idea what is the condition for evaluating caps abilities on the board - is it the number of throws, or the total caps on the board? I really had no clue. There are some readability problems too, like the colors - it’s hard to tell what color a cap is just by looking, especially because the background and characters don’t help at all. Another confusing thing is figuring out who’s attacking who in each turn and for how much.
Hello. I want to thank you for putting in the effort into making this game. You've done a great job with the visuals and gamefeel along with creating clear and readable image. I also really liked the mechanic with bosses dropping upgrades that are both positive and negative at the same time. Now, I find it needed to discuss a number of issues I felt as a player that you might have missed as the designer. First of all – the bullet patterns felt kind of too basic I would personally focus more on that aspect as it’s the most important thing in the genre, if you want to improve I would suggest you check out games like Star of Providence - Star of Providence and ZeroRanger - Zero Ranger as they have really cool and unique bullet patterns you could benefit from studying. Next, the most optimal strategy on countering the enemies is circling around them, this gets really stale when you play for more than 5 minutes. Another point is that the choices you make don’t really matter, no matter what you choose – you get stronger and the choices don’t change how you play making replaying not as interesting as it could have been. Last issue I encountered was that the sounds became unbearable with the stuttering on a 4 minute or so mark (i use Firefox). I apologise in case I was too harsh with my feedback but this is only for you to learn what may have been done wrong, to know what areas you should be improving to become better. Good luck on your next game!
Well there were was a tedious moment with getting the thing in the cage, when I was playing I would be wanting monster to follow the food where I throw it, unfortunately the current way of doing that makes you take unavoidable damage which would be fatal if I was low on health. The game took me 3 tries as far as I remember
Enjoyed the game a lot and the themes it touches upon. Though I have a couple of things to say - at first it wasn't particularly clear which button had to be pressed to interact with objects (I could have missed those notes) and I was slightly frustrated with how long the monster fight took, replaying it wasn't particularly fun. Although overall i really liked it :)
