you're right that this is a disadvantage for the unfamiliar player.

Most players prefer it this way, because it allows them to access all the cards without buying them.

In any case, it would be even more unfair to force players to play only with the base set even though they paid for all the cards.

Balance is very important to us, and many players have said it is one of our strengths. If you have examples (replays/screenshots) of shops that you think are very imbalanced, we are always interested! You can share them here or on Discord in the #balance channel.

- We removed the phase skip guardrails from mission 6 and up (where you can get Manage Arsenal).
- We significantly improved the animation when the Enemy plays cards.
- We added instructions for Production, Manage Arsenal and more to the campaign.
