Updating on Android didn't work. It was stuck at 0% and didn't go anywhere.
I was able to reinstall and use the sync feature though.
Can we a get which picture day 16 is supposed to be in? I went straight there after messaging with Umiko and I can not see it at all. It's the only one I've had actual trouble finding.
Edit: I've learnt that it's random. I found it, did some testing, and noticed it moved. XD Also, can confirm that it can fail to appear even if you go straight to the album after messaging Umiko.
Putting aside the terrible way they go about it (and your slop calls aren't helping you either), they have an absolutely valid point on the issues. You're trying to rail road people into the Loyal path, but want them to feel otherwise. This concept can work, absolutely, but what you've given is so restrictive. Tbc, these issues are exactly why I'm not giving this any further time. Frustration isn't usually a good result from playing a game.
I appreciate the sound of all of this. It seems like you take proper criticism well and are willing to work on that. As a bonus it sounds like it won't be too hard for most of it...at least as your words make it sound; I'm sure it'll still be plenty enough work regardless. I'm looking forward to the future updates.
Maybe a light spoiler for anyone who hasn't finished the previous version. (Just a name drop.)
If it's just saves not loading, have you tried a couple older saves? I got an error with my 2 last saves, but the one before that worked. I haven't played more yet to see if it will continue fine, but it should. I forget the context, but I think the save that worked had me following Luna through a house (if that helps any).
It's in depth, but it's also far from perfect. Not to say it's bad, but it's hardly the best. It could certainly be many people's favourite still. In all honestly, there's definitely better, but whether or not they're a better game overall is also another matter.
In the end, both of these are great games.
While I do prefer the original characters, I don't think the new ones are bad either. That said, I don't recommend calling it a rework when you're changing so much. It's a remake, it's just closely following the original (assuming that it does, but the prologue so far honestly hasn't followed much). I will be waiting for the save file transfer function to get a good look at the other characters. Also, you should prolly change the previews on the game page; it's no longer accurate obviously. Also, the screen shifting as you press on different sides is a little jarring. It's constantly forcing my focus to shift unwillingly and is a bit off putting. I guess that's all I can say much about for now.
So far it's only when enlarging a missing image that locks one out from continuing. I won't be continuing until the fix though, so I won't be able to confirm anything else. (Not dealing with potential progress loss.) Also, without the images the info box can be hard to read, depending on the scene; but it does seem to be working perfectly fine otherwise.
On Android, I'm getting some missing images. I'm upto the end of the prologue with the following known missing: info box 2 and 3 from the player info drop down; Olivia's first phone pic; there was at least something else during the prologue, but I don't remember what from.
It's annoying at best with the info box and breaking at worst with getting trapped on a missing image—I tapped on Olivia's missing phone pic and there was no way to close it. I don't know what else is missing, but I'd rather avoid known risks of getting trapped and possibly losing progress.
The only complaints I could give is to allow a speed up of the credits and something I already forgot about. XD (sorry, terrible memory) This had no business going this damn hard. Such quality in every area. Seriously, the voice acting, while sadly limited, was incredible; great job by talents.
So is this actually it, or was the usual message at the end a little tease that there's still more?
For the most part I don't think it goes too far with anything, but then everyone has their own limits. I think the only way to be sure is to try. If the mere mention isn't enough to do any damage, and you think you'll manage at least until you know something would be too much, then I think it's worth giving it a good shot.
In the end, even if someone reliable told you you'd be fine, the only who can know for sure is you after you get through it or to a point that isn't. I hope you feel upto it. It really is an experience.
0.14 is the bulk of the game. Epilogue is as titled afterwards. If you look through the dev posts, you'll see there's a bunch of legal bs making things difficult for them. So unfortunately this is how things ended up. Though it sounds like a sequal is likely. There's also their other game, though also being affect, that is still being developed.
No. I just updated like every other time.
I usually try uninstalling and reinstalling. Honestly can't remember this time if I did that. XD Unfortunately had a few things not working properly, so I just can't remember if I did. XD
Edit: I did indeed forget to try a reinstall. So far it's working fine.
I'm not seeing the new upgrade or any new races.
Is the new blowjob scene in the sex menu with the two sex positions? I thought that option was already there, but I guess I might be remembering wrong. However, I've found that I can skip everything, as if there's no new scenes, so I'm not sure.
Either way, I'm not seeing the new race or upgrade content.
