I really liked the idea of colour swapping, although it was hard to see at times.

Thx for the detailed review :)

Yeah a tutorial is necessary for this game. I definitely noted that :)

Nice game. I really liked the idea and concept of the game.

The visuals and audio were good but I think it would be nice to have some music in the background and make some texture better to see what they are.

Also cool job on the voice acting and the last part was fun to play too.

Nice job :)

Btw your github link is broken. Goes to 404.

Nice game. I liked the visuals and the audio. It fits the secret theme very well.

I also liked the story and the gameplay but sometimes it was confusing what you have to do next because the order of how to interact with the diffrent objects didn't match the logical excpectation.

All in all great work. Keep it up!

Thanks for playing :) Yeah a tutorial with some gifs would been helpfull. I learned that.

Level 23 :)

I liked that you can upgrade your vision so you have to choose between damage and seeing something.

It would be cool if you could put some patterns on the ground so you can see that you are moving on something. It was a little confusing at first.

I really liked this game. On of the best I have played so far.

Fun game idea with a good implementation of the puzzle mechanics.

The art style was nice to look at and the music and audio fit the overall theme.

You did a good job of teaching the player the game mechanics, something I messed up in my game. Very important stuff :)

As an improvement, I think it's better to use the S key to teleport because it gives a nicer flow when moving between areas. Also, you don't get teleported back if you come from another area and stand on the new teleporter for a half a second too long.

I also noticed two minor bugs:

First, sometimes you cannot walk over blocks and you have to jump over them:

Second, the hitbox on doors seems to be a little bit too big:

You can also softlock yourself sometimes and have to reset with R.
I don't know if this is intentional, didn't bother me.

All in all very good work. Keep it up :)

I really liked the game even though I don't like that genre.

The twist at the end is very well done and I didn't expect that.

One thing I noticed was that after restarting the game you can soft lock yourself in your own room missing the key box.

Also sometimes exclamation marks appear before you can interacte with them.

But everything else works fine.

Maybe add some sfx.

But all in all Well done :)

Thanks for your feedback.

Thanks for your critic.
Next time I will add my machanic mookups into the info box :)

When I control the Lord, I can't move my camera.

You know what to do because of the information menu.

That's good.

But you cannot see if the new villagers are building something or not because your Lord turns insane  because he cannot move without the camera.

So I couldn't finish quest 2 :(

It is also laggy and clunky but overall the concept has a nice touch and I like the idea that the Lord is a vampire in secret.

So I tried the game.

There was no audio. Is that intended?

It is not clear what you have to do and there are no instructions.

When I right click a yellow bar appears and it also has a hitbox.

This means i cannot walk with my character.

There is also no way to remove that.

I like the atmosphere you are going for but I wasn't really playable :)

Okay I checked with Opera gx and works fine for me.

Is the loading bar completely full and then gets stuck or is it only partially full?
And I assume you use Windows?

Feedback has been given.

I really liked the visuals and graphics of the game.

But I had a problem with the inputs (not a bug).

I was moving the character with WASD and it is very weird to interact with the E key.

Also a little more feedback of the impact during fights would be nice :)

The implementation of the secret theme was very well done.

Thats not good and this this game is suppose to  be played in the browser so there is no downloader.

What browser did you use ?
I tested Firefox and Edge and it worked for me.

And be honest :)

Hello :)  I gave my feedback. Here is my game: https://itch.io/jam/game-off-2024/rate/3149064

Nice little game.

I thought the audio (music and sfx) went well with the graphics design and the gameplay was fun.

Something I noticed was that after defeating the first boss and you die you are stucked in the endless space on your own :(

The powerups were cool but they didn't give me a sense of a secret.

I also got a little bit lost on how to close the laser selection window but I found the X,

But all in all a good concept :)
