They went north, through grasslands and swamp, then turned around and through the orchard. The final confrontation ended up being around the river canyon.

At one point they concocted a plan to lure the rivals into a kill zone and get rid of them with artillery (they had a Barbarossa) to remove them without a direct fight. They started discussing their supposed plan to lure the Hulk on open channel to draw them in. but the other hunters just resorted to switching off their transponders and sneaking up on the party when they were preparing.

After they reduced the creature to 1 structure and 4 hp, it borrowed underground and started running away from the combat zone. The day was saved, by a Swallowtail with Lotus Projector, who managed to snipe it for those last few HP.

Once again thank you for this adventure. I'll sure borrow some of its ideas in my future campaigns.

I ran it today at LL2 for group of 4, consisting 50:50 of new and returning players. They all loved it and hex crawl part was great, though I felt like it could've used some way to nerf limited use items and core powers, as with only one combat scene, players can just use them all at once and trivialize the combat significantly. I know hex crawl part is meant to do that, but it could go further.

Just used it today for the first time in my Lancer one shot. My players loved it.

Thanks for reply and thank you for not spinning it off into a separate purchase!

Edit: bought and read the pdf. I feel like somebody read my mind about everything I'd change about NPCs

Does this only touch on the corebook NPCs or it also includes other official NPCs like Avenger etc?

Honestly the other ones seem fine. I haven't had a chance to test them. It was just easier to remove the whole LCP rather than tell players to specifically avoid a certain frame, considering the game is already full of options.

I have since concluded that campaign and I can say it was a mess. At LL6 Oleander got so busted that it made rest of the party's damage dealers useless by comparison and any multi-structure NPC a joke. When I buffed enemies to stand a chance against it, the other players were not able to keep up instead.

The rest of the book is great though. Since then I just haven't allowed these alt frames in my campaigns, which isn't a big deal considering they are 3d party. And then Shadow of the Wolf released the Tagetes...

New Sherman is so broken it isn't funny. It definitely needs a serious nerf or something. It pretty much invalidates any other ranged frame.

Yeah interiors would be much helpful in making this app comprehensive

Who cares you can only shoot 1/round when you can OC loop reload anti-mat rifle without ordnance and ignoring enemy resistances. Stack on Roland chamber, op cal and crack shot and you're essentially able to one shot every standard enemy and even some multiple structure ones.

Being able to heal yourself once per scene, gain seeking and crit on 18 is just icing on the cake.

From experience in my group Oleander feels a bit like it invalidates the basic Death Head in most cases.
