I'm already using all of Itch.io's available providers (PayPal & Stripe), so if you are having problems with a provider you have to contact them directly. If you are using a prepaid card, i think paypal is more likely to have a solution for you.

i'm not sure when i'll have a mac to reliably test on, but once i do i'll try to make a build  💕

spirits mirror::digital possessed
https://justadog.itch.io/spirits-mirror-digital-possessed

a spirit reflects

the visions you see

shifting divisions

between you & me

we talk in the garden

you tell me your name

you tell me be careful

to not do the same

the spirit descends like a beautiful dove

wrapped in addictions & perils of love

burning for futures obscured in the flames

a mirror reflects, so we play mirror games

suggesting halves

but

neither

thank youu, enjoy 😊🪞

yeah they are interactive! you should be able to click on them and pull the lever/handle thingies

aww thank you, i'm really flattered!
i checked out rouge noir, it looks great!
keep up the good work 😁

you should play my other game THAT NIGHT, STEEPED BY BLOOD RIVER, it has more sound puzzles like that one!

Hi! it's one of the bonus tracks, it'll show up if you download the whole album 😉

No worriess, I'm just sorry the game isn't working for you 😔

hmmm, well a new level should load when you click the phone.
can you upload a screenshot of what it looks like?

oh i'm sorry! i've never seen that bug before!
What are your computer's system specs??

Aww thank you! Honestly, I wasn't directly inspired by LSD Dream Simulator, more by other game developers that were.

I was really inspired by 0°N 0°W, which you should definitely check out if you haven't already!

i've been designing an options menu for a future update but hadn't thought of adding an invert y option. Sounds like a good inclusion, thanks for the suggestion!

damn better than drugs?? I'll have to be careful with this one then 😉

I'm glad you enjoyed it ✨✨✨

idkkk, I guess you have to play and see 😉

💕

Thank youuu! I watched your video last night and you're right about the drawing mechanic. I'm glad you could have some fun with it 😂

hi Pete, I'm sorry you're having issues 😥

That definitely looks like a rendering issue with one of the shaders. Can you send me an email @ taylorswietanski@gmail.com with your graphics hardware & software information, and a more detailed description of where the black plane shows up?

To be honest, it might be a hardware limitation regarding which shader models your machine supports, but you could try updating OpenGL to the latest version and see if that help?

Either way I'd be happy to look into this for you once I get your machine specs ☺️

mhmm it's intentional.

there are no "better graphics".

everyone who plays sees the same thing.

you're welcome!! yeah i'm not a registered apple developer, so there are a couple of extra hoops to jump through. Thanks for posting instructions for all the mac users out there ✨✨✨

we'll see 🤐

it's not out yet, but there will be an announcement when it's up on bandcamp 😊

there's isn't a way to rebind keys currently, but the arrow keys should still work for moving around

damn imagine smoking with Georgia. what an icon

Thank you, they are 💕

Thank youu! I wrote some post-processing effect shaders for most of the effects. Graphics.Blit() with a shader on your camera or rendertexture, it's a lot of fun to experiment with 😊

🌊🌊🌊 haha

I'm glad you like the design 😁

I'm a big fan of games that emphasize immersion over explanation, and I felt that would work for this game.

(1 edit)

aww I'm flattered! Tech art & shaders are so beautiful, you should look into render textures and post-processing effects and see what you can come up with ☺️

thanksss, that's how i try to live my life haha

Can a game title include emojis?
For example, if I publish a game with the title: 😃, will it work like any other game title?

If so, is the game searchable if you type that emoji into the search bar?

Hi! The soundtrack is up now, you can listen to it here

that's so cool! I'm so happy the game stuck with you, thank you for playing 😊

The music from the game isn't up anywhere right now, but when it is I'll let you know!

I'm glad you could enjoy it even in your sleep state

Thank you for playing! I hope you get to finish

And no weird meanings, just regular, normal people meanings :)

Thank you haha, I appreciate it! I've been playing for a long time, so it was fun to finally use it in a game. Means a lot coming from a fellow player 😉

The song was written and recorded by me, so you're all good, you have my permission to use it! Thank you so much for playing :)

Thank you for the kind words :)

If this game inspires you to make something meaningful or personal too, it's done it's job

i tried to make a different game, but it didn't work

Thank you so much! I'm glad you could connect with the game in a meaningful way. Don't worry about a ""definite meaning", the meaning you get out of it is the important part
