Thank you so much, I’m very glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you so much! im really glad you enjoyed it, it was a little rushed it was made in 5 days.

thank you so much, I was in the same spot for a while just making unfinished projects, I would highly recommend joining a game jam with a shorter time period it really pushes you to finish up and polish a game, before joining a game jam I had no complete games but now I’ve got 2!

Thank you so much, im glad you liked it, i did want to get to those rooms but didnt have time since this was for a game jam. Loved the Youtube video!

thank you so much, I’m really glad you enjoyed it. I have like a few months of experience with game making but this is only my second full project. And the voice is actually a ai software that uses text to speech, I just had to write the lines and edit the audio to have it fit my game!

Hey, everyone!

I’m excited to announce the release of my indie horror game, Threads of Madness, on http://itch.io !

Game Overview: Enter Threads of Madness, where you play as Alex Harper, a former journalist drawn to the dark secrets of an abandoned asylum. As you navigate its haunting corridors, you journal your discoveries about unethical experiments and the chilling history that led to its closure.

As you delve deeper, you uncover fragments of Alex's own troubled past, revealing the experiences that shaped their journey. Can you piece together the truth behind the asylum and its impact on Alex’s life?

Features:

  • Atmospheric Gameplay: Immerse yourself in a haunting environment that enhances the eerie narrative.
  • Engaging Storyline: Experience a blend of psychological horror and a gripping personal story.

I’ve been working hard on this project solo, and I’d love your feedback! If you’re a fan of horror games, I hope you’ll check it out. This game was made in about 5 days for a game jam

Play it here: https://talnt.itch.io/threads-of-madness

Feel free to share your thoughts, suggestions, or any horror game recommendations! Thank you for your support!

I liked the art style, could have been a bit more clear on where to go and what to do

I really liked the intro cut scene, and the first person controller was nice!

the voiceover was nice and I enjoyed the sound effects overall pretty fun!!

Really liked the visuals and the zombies breaking in I wasn’t expecting that very nice!!

yes I fully agree I didn’t fully get around to it I focused a bit more on the story, if I do update the game I would love to finish the ending more and increase the scares a little. I’m really glad you liked it and thank you for your feedback!!

Thank you so much!! I’m glad you liked it

Thank you so much that means a lot, I’m very glad you enjoyed it! I’m fairly new to game making and coding so I’m trying to make shorter projects to improve, but I definitely would love to work on a bigger project at some point.

really enjoyed this very cool concept and i like the use of the different powers like the jump and speed boost, very fun to play

due to this storm I don’t currently have power or Wi-Fi so I’m not able to add a downloadable version until they can get it fixed if they get it fixed in time I definitely will try to do that!

I’m glad you enjoyed the game :), mine time did get cut short due to power outages here after a storm but yes I would have liked to have more content on the empty items and maybe give more hints with them that’s a good idea I appreciate the feedback thank you!

thank you I’m really glad you enjoyed it, I would have liked to add a little more content and polish it a bit more we actually have had a bad storm pass through and my power has been out so I only got like 3 good days to work on it, this is really my first full game and first game jam so I’m very happy that you enjoyed the game thank you!

mine did that for a little once it loaded once it ran fine also are you on a computer? It won’t work on mobile, it is a 3D game in unity so it might take a little to load but I wanted to make it web so people didn’t have to download it, this is my first game jam and first “full game”.
