If you’re going to try demanding high execution and threatening high lethality from the get-go, you need to give your players better insight into mechanics from the get-go as well, because you have chosen to set the floor higher, most RPGs derive complexity from nuances in skill choice You also should consider the very real risk of your demands reducing engagement by stifling variety

Ensigns should probably be exempt from Recruit Cost Modifiers, such as the basic preferences ones, as its EXTREMELY easy but tedious to sell off all your ensigns, convert their Reqs to Credits, and recruit a new staff, gaining 5 Credits in their career per person, repeating until you can hire any crew you want with your preferences activated
Technically you could do this with higher rank Reqs into Credits as well, but that ends up just being a small bonus for giving up any preferences rather than an abusable loop
The Qi Power thing I imagine is so that you actually need to spend EXP on it, rather than just wildly dumping into your cultivation and spending no other effort
Tang Wei is like that because, in those final moments, he is distant from himself, the person who set up this grand scheme and the person choosing to perish are, in a certain way, both the same and not
I’m of the other mind, which is that, as they are functionally variants, I’d rather they be unlocked so that if I do decide I’m interested in seeing the difference I don’t need to go find the encounter in-game with the toggle off, I care a lot more about the distinction in wild gameplay than I do when poking a gallery and have the choice of just not opening the scene Instead I’d just have the slot in the gallery blurred out or otherwise indicated it is such while the toggle is active
What work? Its a Persistent check, the layers are fine and just checking that you understand how to micromanage your resources And what the hell are you on about it not being at the level of work? You take 3-5 loops of easy work(steal all the power cells you don’t need to reach Laurion, power on Laurion, set up the Generator, stockpile the last resources and dive in, you don’t even need the Food Synth Coupler you know you’ll die in there)
Until a means of accelerating the Door or General Actions happens, its impossible, as the “failed previous attempt” bonus is only 1.2x for the duration, even if you somehow filled the entire bar with this bonus, you’d come up just a bit short as that only reduces the task time to 12 minuts(You die to lack of Air/Water before it could be completed)
Main options are Devil’s Drink fight club(feed the hungry hobo at the camp a few times and he’ll clue you in), once your magic is good enough you can easily make 4k a loop, give or take what you spend recouping magic and lust
Stripping, which scales infinitely off your Ero and doesn’t have a repetition limit per sleep cycle, plus it only needs stamina
A slower but real option is dumping 100 milk into the refinery at the farm(buy it in Upper New Ark’s Mall) and coming back later, it sells for 20 a piece
Technically you can be more efficient by turning it into cheese slices(5x5), but you can’t mass-produce slices in one action, unlike the Potion+ items so thats tedious and unhelpful
If you read the dialogue correctly, you’d have noticed the Queen said she would take you out if you rejected her gift, but that you would not be given another chance to receive her love
As for removing the visual effects, Dalvie’s Shop, its named “Shop of Curiosities” or the like iirc. in ’vania for the majority, any tattoo shop to undo the lust crest
Yeah, cause its not a roguelike, its just an action puzzle game, at best you could call it a dungeon crawl, grid based dungeon crawls existed before Rogue(I almost said tile based but that stuff is so old they didn’t have graphical tiling, your grid was built out of keyboard characters using ASCII), Rogue was innovative(but kinda bad in sheer bare-bones nature) in figuring out how to generate randomized layouts and rooms, and thus in later iterations of the idea, expand the depth of variety and mechanics one could reasonably encounter and create

I think the biggest thing you could do to streamline exploring, is to add a one-button “leave” option to encounters you’ve seen before that you can safely leave, such as Pent Wolf and encounter Thief & Knave in the prologue, when they tell you to fuck off or Knave will be forced to make you, since to leave Thief & Knave right now I have to Talk > Some form of Hi Thief says Leave, Knave says Yeah Go Leave > Leave Since game actions use those drop downs, its a lot of unnecessary feeling clicking for basic decisions(and in the case of those two, after your first meeting you should know they wanna be left alone and be allowed to just walk away when you find them without the song and dance)
Is this a yaoi game? It doesn’t mention so anywhere but the degree of bara men I’ve seen makes me wonder before I delve deeper, I’d been hoping for something with a bit more variety, some lesbian stuff and/or character customization
In an actual piece of feedback, you really need some SFX and maybe some music, your combat scenes feel incredibly strange being so animated without any sound effects punctuating combat or victory And a way to Search specifically for an enemy encounter would be nice, so you can grind without having to slowly navigate past Thief & Knave and Pent Wolf repeatedly, since skipping through repeat dialogue is very slow due to the menu formatting
There’s an Autoclicker Upgrade you can pick, Cursor, there’s also a number of upgrades that incentivize NOT clicking, most notably Right Eye, which grants scaling mult as long as you don’t click or Turn the hourglass(Anti-Grav Sand works great with this, and Left and Right Eye both crank up Base Time)
There’s also a Pin, Remote Control, which makes all clicks propagate to Hourglasses horizontal of them
As someone who actually aspires to someday possibly(look I’m broke and incomeless, I have to put plenty of qualifiers on my dreams) actually get surgery like that, this was a nice little thing to see~ If you haven’t, look into Salmacian stuff, find some similar minds

Stuck at this as well, my current guess is that it’s gonna wait till the Milk Room is ready, we probably need a scene there before we can follow up on either the Dream Journal, or the mysteries of Amma’s involvement
That or its plausible to actually wander over to Amma’s supposed medical retirement and ask her whats what ourselves
Whiff Cancel is honestly kinda weak, the fact that you can only convert to Attacks or "Hold" which leaves you vulnerable for a while yet, means that its a shoddy defense tool if the opponent is actionable, often you'll just use a different attack thats still gonna get dodged or beat out, whereas Free Cancel just straight up lets you feint
