In case you would like to know the next step: (SPOILERS) After the valve you can go into the room where the fire was originally blocking and there’s a keycard on the body on the wall which will allow you to go into the last section of the game which is also in that basement area :)

It was really good! Lots of variety with the minigames and it matches the theme well. Loved that one of the words for the mini game was badtheme haha

Those PC specs should be absolutuly fine, no idea why its crashing. Thank you for sending them :)

Thanks so much for playing and for the feedback! Yeah, it was super rushed in 2 days, but I’m glad the sound design worked in building tension. And yep, that flashlight was orginally supposed to do something, but when I didnt get to put it in I accidentally left it lying around 😅. Really appreciate you taking the time to try it out! I actually have a bigger game coming to itch soon that we spent a couple of months on, so hopefully it’ll give you an even scarier experience!

It was fun to play! I think it would feel a bit nicer if there was just a tiny bit of leeway when the owner turns around. Sometimes I’d click right as they turned and instantly get caught. Even something like a 0.1s grace window would make it feel more forgiving without making it too easy!

Thanks a lot for playing and for the detailed feedback! I’m aware that some people are running into crashes, though I haven’t been able to reproduce them myself, which makes it tricky to debug. If you don’t mind sharing your system specs (CPU, GPU, RAM), that might help me figure out what’s going on.

The key issue in the washroom is new to me too, I couldn’t get it to happen when testing. Do you remember what you did right before it stopped working? That info would be super helpful.

As for the time side of things, I couldn’t dedicate more time or spread the workload out because of work, so I just pushed as far as I could. Next time I’ll hopefully cut down on bugs since I won’t need to wrestle with a web build the same way again, at least hopefully.

Its on the larger side so it might take a bit to load, I found loading can be up to 30 seconds. If it took longer i’m not sure. There’s a windows build if you’re unable to load the web version.

There's a known bug, do not pickup the broom before the step to do so! I will fix it after the rating period :)
